    Help!!! Some please

I just finished installing IOS36 following this post instruction but my Wii remote became out of sync in the process. I don't know what to do. No button works, and I don't know if I should pull the plug to reset or what. I don't want to brick my new Wii.

    Is on system menu 4.1U

On the screen is currently stuck at "Press any button to continue"

    HELP Please

this is honestly my first time hacking my wii by myself,
and this is the only tutorial that i was confident in following to the T

so excited to see what i can do with my wii now!

    thanks for posting this!

Hey all just a few quick Qs before i start

The guide says it requires an internet for my wii, but when i read through the guide there is no mention of any steps actually requiring the internet, other than optional updates, is an internet connection *required* to do this?

I have had an internet connection to my wii previously - but my usb wifi stick gave out late last year/early this year so my current firmware version is either 3.4 or 3.5 i believe(i can check for sure tommorow).

2nd, if i do get it to work, do all compatible games work no matter what firmware version i have(am stuck with the 3.4/3.5 for now) or are some newer releases bound to newer firmwares?

Oops, one more question - reading the official site for the homebrew channel - it says USB storage devices work for homebrew applications - After installing homebrew/bootmii off an SD card, can i use a usb stick to complete the rest of the guide? This would just be for convenience to me as i'll be borrowing an sd card temporarily for the install.

    Thanks for your time

you need the internet when updating your system menu (step 4) updating your sysmenu is necessary coz u have 3.4 [3.3 and 3.4 needs to update to 4.1] as uve said. if u dont have net on ur wii, u can do this offline also. first, install IOS60patched, then download the right sysmenu wad FOR YOUR WII'S REGION,
( http://www.mediafire.com/wedump ) then install it also via wad manager. then u can proceed to step 5

thats what i asked a while ago. backtrack about 5-7 pages in this thread to read about it.

Please help if you can guys. I followed the tutorial and everything was working fine.

Suddenly last night when i select neogamma it will open neogamma but them freeze the system. The wiimote just starts to blink all 4 lights across the bottom. I have to reset the system to get back to main menu. Original disc still work fine but all backups now will not run. Everytime i load neogamma it freezes the wii.

Please give me some insight into why and how to fix this.

    Much much appreciated.

Probably something wrong with NeoGamma install. Install it again, please. Are you using NeoGamma as a channel? I have seen a few Wiis recently that have problems and can only use NeoGamma from Homebrew menu-one additional step, I know but better than no backups.

So, reinstall and try again. If still no joy, and using as a channel wad, then try using NeoGamma as a HBC app.
