I looked over the tutorial and I kinda got stuck.
First I should extract the MMM-58-61.zip in the sd\
    launch and install hackmii.
The second step is to install HBC and BootMII - my question is - from where (i cannot find them in the MMM-58.61.zip and I didn't find any download link in the tutorial at step 2). I'm sorry if my questions seem stupid but I don't get it...
    Thanks for the support!

Hi Need help to update my sofmod Wii, so i can play COD-BlackOps
Done softmod sometime ago, do not remember exactly what step i took. It look similar at this guide.
    What i remember is
Have installed BootMii as ISO and Homebrew, truchbug was install to Slot 249 (in your guide it is slot 36) - Does it matter?
install CIOS rev14 then may have put the IOS36 back using wad manager
Install the Pached IOS60 then installed IOS202/222/223 using wad manger

    Can I use your guide to update cIOS38 r17 and then IOS38,53,55,56,57 & 58 ? Any advice

One other question is cIOS38 r17 is same as cIOS249 r17 is same thing?

    Thansk in advance

    Softmod + Partition Update?

I followed this, dogeggs softmod guide, and using wiiscrubber on 2 newly release games I see they have the update partition. Now I'm not 100% sure, does dogeggs softmodding prevent the system updates that are on these games? In example, my system is at 4.1u and these updates I"m sure are the latest firmwares, do I need to remove the "partition update" from the games before I load them in wiiflow? Or can I leave them?

Just remove the 1st partition if you have doubts. No 1st partition -> no possible update.

You dont need to remove them.. If you are loading from USB the updates are bypassed.. They show up on disc though. I load all my games from usb. I rip the originals onto my HDD and have never been asked for an update. and most of my 31 games are newer and carry the disc update.
also since your finished with this guide you might wanna jump over to the "any wii" guide in my sig and see if all your ISO's/cIOS's are up to date.. Im not sure when this one was updated and a lot has changed for game/app compatibility in the last few months. at least it seems so..

Thanks for the Info Shift. I had a chipped wii before, so would see that "update" on discs too if I the update partition wasn't removed. the partition update with wiiscrubber and would have to reburn would . I will check out the "any wii" guide and add to my learning.

Thank you for an easy to follow guide - however I am having a problem with CIOS38 r17 Installer - I am receiving an error message on Installing Custom IOS - it reads as Install ERROR! (ret = -1035) - I can not get any WADs to load under 249 but they will under 36 - I backed up my NAND as IOS as Bootmi2 would not load - if I try to return the NAND via Pri Loader I am advised serious error could occur no sequence of buttons will allow me to proceed - I am running this on a 4.1E (Black Wii) - I have modded 4 Wiis in the past running 4.2E without problem - Your help would so appreciated.

You have a stubbed ios249 installed. You need another method, try mine below
