"the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). click on ok to terminate the application".

upon double checking my folders i have the wad files required but when trying to run DOP-IOS it says cannot find on card checking the internet then initializing network....
what is DOP-IOS? i dont have lu64 so i never had to run this tbr. You have to choose the SD card toption, not the download from NUS option. every file you need is inside the package... the four wads need to be in the root of the sd card.

All goes well until I go to upgrade my firmware to 4.1 it looks like it's working until I get the message Installing System Menu 4.u, please wait...Installing Title....Error (ret=-1036) See the screen shot attached. Can anyone help with this? I'm currently on v3.4u and didn't to go any further and screw things up. Everything to this point went 100% fine!
Do you have an internet connection on the wii? if not you have to install system menu v449(it is 4.1 u i think, but be sure what you are doing before you proceed) via wad manager. It is best if you stick with the online update though

    user agreement freezes

I performed this guide without any major issues.

I also did the optional shop channel update and internet update.

Everything seems to work as planned except the shop channel, wich say I need to agree to the user agreement. when I try to doo this, it just hangs, home button displays "no home" icon, a reset will reboot.

The network is configured and working, internet channel works as well as many other network functions.

Is there some other way to agree to the user agreement? It would seem that a system hack could easily set this to yes.

    Thanks for the great tutorial!

Is there any way to get the boot.elf to work again once you install the guide, because I was trying to load it again and it wouldn't load, could be safety feature, not sure?

Check this out for a offline 4.1 upgrade. I think it is rather popular knowledge to NEVER use a disc upgrade on a modded Wii.

One more bit of information, I went into any region changer to try to do this and EULA is set to disabled and wont let me change it.

Any idea what set this to disabled?

Of course not. I just did not understand what part of the TBR failed

@jtrip - try the official update instead of wanins....or do what messie suggested and install it with wad manger, make 100% sure that you have ios60 installed first else brick

@lostbhoy - if you bought your wii this year and it had sys menu 3.4 or 4 on it it will be a PAL version of the LU64, as LU64 is just the serial no. of the first boot2v4 wiis to appear the name has stuck but all new wiis regardless of serial no. are boot2v4.
