    IOS38-64-v3867
    IOS50-64-v4889
    IOS53-64-v5406
    IOS55-64-v5406
On the the second, there was an error in the uninstall process. What do these four do exactly? Now, I have a screen that shows 4.1 US on the bottom right of my screen. If I boot to priiloader, I try to go to HBC, it now says it is not installed. I'm stumped. Any more ideas? I'm hoping to at least get it back to what it was before. And because these four were on the links from DogEggs, I had full confidence in them and I still do. I messed up on something and I don't get it. Help please. I actually did buy a GC controller and was able to sync my wiimote. What do I do?
Never, ever uninstall an IOS under 200 --- this will cause a full brick. HBC operates off of an IOS, likely one you deleted. You will need to reinstall HBC and pray you will be able to reinstall those wads. This might be a problem as well, as the IOS will be gone and you won't have wad manager available without HBC. If you run into this, best ask in the bricked Wii section... good luck.

Edit: reviewing the exchange between you and myself, I suggested a System Menu reinstall; where in the world did you get the idea to remove system IOS?! Link to Bricked Wii section is BRICKED Wii Issues ONLY

If you've got boot2 access, and have backed up your NAND and have those files in a safe place away from the little ones --- then in that case it's an option. If it's IOS install, I'd not recommend it; IDK if parental controls on Wii could somehow be invoked to keep'em out or not, might be good to look into.
thanks:P I found a simple solution to keep them away from important apps that could lead to bricking the wii, thanks for the info

@DobyTang-if Nightstah's recommendation doesn't do the trick for you. Mirror sites for softmod download are in Post #12380.

Updating to 4.0? Are you on 3.1, then? That's the only reason or should be the only reason why you'd be updating to 4.0; check your router/wifi on both sides and reset and retry. If you misspoke, also post back. It may be traffic on the server or network...

Let me put it this way: if you install an updated System Menu via an offline option, you will be missing some IOS and have to source those via DOP-MII aka DOP-IOS to get'em in your Wii. If this is something you're comfortable with, let me know (I need your region ie U, E, K, J as well). The instruction will be for an offline method, but the IOS installation is not covered by this thread/forum as it's beyond the scope of intent.

You can download System Menu 4.1U here. Extract the file via WinRar and place in your /wad folder on SD card. Use wad manager via HBC and install this. It will update you to 4.1U; again, however updating the Menu is only a part of the update --- you'll have to use DOP-MII aka DOP-IOS to find some IOS that your Wii would otherwise have if done via the online method.
