    Still no luck with 3.3U...

Tried again last night but was unsuccessful.

Made sure everything was correct (SD card, FAT32..)

But there was an error when updating to 4.1.

Sometimes the error comes out when downloading TMD. Sometimes it comes out when downloading Shop Channel. The error codes was sometimes -1 and sometimes -10076.

Is it because that the Wii is 3.3U? Is there anything special with this version?

I've worked with 3.2U before and no problem. Should I downgrade to 3.2U?

This Wii comes with Backup Loader and Shop Channel when bought. Original games play by Disc Channel. All others using Backup Loader. (I'm not sure if this information is helpful)

See this post for an offline method for updating to 4.1 and this thread for updating shop channel on any 4.x Wii.

It's best described as "recommended" in such a scenario more for the features mentioned.

Those are all really nice features. I should be doing another Wii in the next few weeks and I think I may give Priiloader a shot, thanks.

Is it a bad idea to install Bootmii on a Wii that has already been modded? I assume that the NAND backup will contain whatever hacks I have on the Wii prior to backing it up and a NAND backup would be best done BEFORE you hack your wii, but I never installed Bootmii on about 4 Wii's that I have successfully softmodded for friends and it would be nice to have a NAND backup even if it just recovers the state they are currently in... at least on my own personal Wii because I often install new mods and stuff on it.

And what about Priiloader in this case?

    Thanks in advance.

I used this method on a 3.3U system a couple nights ago and it worked great. You shouldn't have to downgrade to 3.2 or anything like that and there is nothing special that you should have to do outside of the TUT.

I don't consider myself any expert or anything but in my experience sometimes using installers with the network method (using Internet connection to download), and I have used quite a few of these, would just mess up a couple or few times before I could get them to work. There have been times that I couldn't get a particular one to work at all and had to use other methods but weeks later it would work fine, they are just funny like that sometimes. (BTW, I'm not referring to the 4.1 updater in particular but it was one of Waninkoko's installers)

If you have tried a good few times and it still wont work I suggest you follow nightstah's advice and follow his link.

If you backup the NAND, that'll eat about 530mb +/-... I used a 1gb one and that worked.

You'll try it and get "no vulnerable IOS found." There's a tutorial on that, too. Do you even know what cIOSCorp does --- it guts many key IOS in favor of its own, highly proprietary and customized versions. Ever read the readme with that app?

A NAND backup is like taking a snapshot of your Wii at the time you do it. What you do to it afterwards won't be in the NAND backup. You can do it any time you want, before and after, etc. What about it?
