i finished soft modding but at the end i got confused.

as i had to update the menu to 4.1 i had already installed the patched IOS60

    5. THE FINAL STEP
i skipped a cuz i had already done it, then i did D

    d) In the Priiloader menu select Homebrew Channel (if you didn't install Priiloader then just open HBC as normal), run Wad Manager 1.4, use default settings (IOS249 & SD card) and install these wads from the 'wad' folder:

after that i did part B and C

b). Open the Homebrew Channel and load Priiloader, press + to install. After install, your Wii should reboot and load the Priiloader menu. If it doesn't, turn your wii off and on again whilst holding down reset and it will load the Priiloader menu.

    c) Select 'system menu hacks' in the Priiloader menu, and enable the hacks that you want - 'skip disc update check' and the region free ones are all you need. Select 'save settings' and wait for confirmation message to display 'settings saved'. Press B to go back, and enter Settings. Set 'Autoboot: System Menu' using D-Pad, then select save settings. Press B to return to main Priiloader menu.

i wonder if that can bring me troubles. everything seems to b working fine. should i do the part D again ?

i could play a back up game burned in a DVD , worked fine , even tho i burned it in TDK R+ i didn't have any other DVD. can this DVD's damage my wii ?

the only thing that doesnt work is the shopping stuff, i tried to enter n the wii got blocked if i remember well the screen got black.

    i would appreciate some help
    thanks

You're OK. It's not that the TDK+R will damage your Wii, but there are a couple of things to be aware of. First off, TDK+R are usually CMC MAG media code discs, which means they're junk. Do not depend on them to be long lasting, they tend to degrade. Also, it's a matter of individual Wii drive tolerances -- whether that particular disc can be read or not. While it may work right now, that isn't a guarantee it'll work "tomorrow" (if you get what I mean).

On the Shop Channel issue: do what this thread says and you'll be good to go (note: requires an active internet connection).

After you completely softmod using this tutorial, use this to load, play and rip games via USB HDD:

Always remember this: a game working or not working has nothing to do with System Menu version. PERIOD. As for that particular game, have you checked out the NSMB guide here?

    Thanks nightstah,

You are very helpful to newbies. Really appricated that. I have treid that but no success. I have neogamma RC8 beta1 as per the guide and thinking of upgrading it to RC8 beta 15.

Does it help me to load the game peroperly?. Is beta 15 is compatible with this guide ios249 rev 17?

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
NeoGamma R8 RC 1 = Release Candidate 1 (as in out of beta, either final or close to final product). Neo Gamma R8 Beta 15 by comparison is an older version. Yes, it's compatible but not the latest. Your questions relating to NSMB really need to be put in the guide/link I provided earlier; it does work -- the backup here works flawlessly.
