    Punch Out

First off, big thanks on the easy to use guide...I was lost with all the others.

I have followed this guide and am successfully running 3.2u. All my games work except Punch-Out! Why is this? I've searched and most say I need ios 60, but does that conflict with my 3.2u setup? I'm a bit confused any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    No luck!

I installed ios60, but it still doesn't work.

I have two games - PES 2009 and Punch-Out. They are both on the same type of disc burnt at the same speed using the same burning software. PES plays wonderfully. Punch-Out will start up, but as soon as I click on a game mode (Exhibition, Career, etc.) the "Disc is unable to read please see operation manual" screen pops up.

I'm downgrading from 4.0e and everything has running sweet in the previous tutorial and this one until I get to step 4 c.), and run the WAD Batch Installer.

It does it's thing for a bit and says installing content, then displays this error msgs:

    IOS38-64-v3610.wad
    >> Installing content #17... ERROR! (ret = -1)
    IOS53-64-v4113.wad
    >> Installing title... ERROR! (ret = -1017)
    IOS55-64-v4633.wad
    >> Installing title... ERROR! (ret = -1017)
    NeoGamma R4-NGBL.wad
    >> Installing title... ERROR! (ret = -1017)

    [+] 0 file(s) installed, 4 file(s) failed!

    Any ideas....

I'm going to try and manually install the IOS from Dogeggs repository...

Failing that any ideas or pointers to get me in the right direction?

Got something of a problem, every time I run the IOS downgrader in the archive provided, it check the network status, then spews out a massive list of what appear to be memory addresses, with EXCEPTION (DSI) at the top...

I am a complete newb at this, so this error frightens and confuses me. Any help anyone?

EDIT: And, after 5 or 6 attempts, then just works. buh?

EDIT2: And when I get to the downgrade firmware bit, it works fine, for a while. When it gets to IOS30 it stops with ERROR (ret = -115)

ERROR! (ret = -1) had this a few times until I found out that the .wad has to be put in the root of the SD card, NOT in the wad folder or anywhere else.
Just a key reminder to anyone who's had that error~

And I'm back to getting regular EXCEPTION (DSI) errors.

It seems to regularly do this when I load the Firmware downgrader, it gets stuck at Initializing network for ages then crashes with the exception.

It has at least onc e just simply crashed at the initializing stage, it became unresponsive with no errors, and once it got past that to downloading files, but eventually gave me an ERROR (ret = -115).

Anyone have any ideas what the hell is wrong with this? All the other steps seemed to go through fine after a couple of tries, this one is being more persistant.

EDIT: And after installing the 3.2 Update manually as described earlier in the thread, I'm now getting the same errors as abickhoff up there, Error ret = -1017 on the final 4 wad files

    Same problem here...

edit: After going back and using the WAD Manager instead of the WAD Batch Installer, and manually installing each of the 4 files in the correct order, i was able to get them all installed with no ret errors.
