Hmmm... I dunno what to tell you on this one. You can always reformat the card (FAT32) via full format not quick. Redownload and extract the files to it and try again. Just to rule out some form of corruption. Post back, either way. Gen3SF may need to assist with this if no luck.

Can someone please direct me to another download site? Thanks!

    Hi
I'm new to this forum. Thank you for this guide, it helped me a lot. I'm still gonna share my experience with you guys.

I have a Wii 4.1U and I used 4GB Apacer SD card - formatted in windows (So I guess i doesn't need to be a 2gb or less nor Scandisk brand).
I also didn't have the internet connection on the Wii, so I think that could be removed from the requirements stated at the beginning of this thread.

But something very weird happened when I was doing the tutorial.
All the beginning went very fine until I reached 5.a
I went into Wad manager and installed the IOS60-patched.wad and made sure I didn't "un-install" it as said.
Then my Wii shut down during the installation of IOS60-patched.wad. There was no power at all in the wii and the little LED wasn't on either. I did many tests but no chance.
I freaked out and wondered whether I uninstalled the IOS60-patched.wad or not ! I unplugged all connections and plugged it again but no result the wii was dead and completely unresponsive. (that moment I thought I bricked my wii).

I read some other threads on wii hacks, mostly trying to figure out what to do when a wii is bricked.

I found that thread where a guy explains power failure with the WII and advises to unplug everything, wait 5 minutes (it resets the wii) and try again. Well for me I unplugged everything, but had to wait ~1 hour and plugged it back and it was working again.

I dunno if you guy ever had this problem. Do you think it was linked to the installation of IOS60-patched.wad ?

Anyway, thanks to all of you, now it works like a charm, and can play lego indiana jones 2 and NSMB and other game I couldn't play.

    Thanks again.

It always start on the second try. I upgraded to 4.1 when I did it the first time and then i went back to 3.2u and it still happens. When i got the black screen both times I was in homebrew, once in wad manager installing a wad and once in M Player CE trying to exit. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this?
    Thanks

cIOSCorp can at times wreak havoc on other installed software due to compatibility issues. What you have to understand about that particular piece of software is how invasive it is. It replaces a lot (used to be most, now "a lot") of your core IOS with proprietary ones that at times conflict with other things. I'm not saying this is the culprit, but put it this way --- it doesn't help (in diagnosing if nothing else). Always identify your Wii as a cIOSCorp Wii when asking for help (yes, you did; just reminding you should you keep it installed and ever run into future problems). You ever read the readme? You could always try to uninstall it and see if the (mis)behavior ceases...

^Could've played a part in this, huh? Usually you'll get an error of one kind or another, but also sometimes other odd behavior to indicate SD compatibility problems. It usually shows up relating to the wads...

Thanks gen3sf. The reinstall of the same priiloader did the trick.

I guess I should change for a Scandisk then. Thanks

maybe you got the same problem as I had. unplug everything, wait about an hour and plug it back, beginning with the power cord first only (no AV output and no Wii infrared sensor).
