When you start savemii free, do you put in the disk? How long does it take to load?

Been doing some reading and think I just panic as the bombbanner was from the hack I used to down grade my firmware to 3.2 when I remove the card and use another the bombbanner goes. So looks if I'm okay at present lucky me.

I've also now installed miiboot which from what I've been reading makes the wii almost bomb proof.

    Hi,

Just a quick question I couldn't find the answer to...

Is it absolutely necessary to use an original GC controller?

    ok a couple of questions:
    1. Do i really need a modchip to do this?
    2. What program should i use to burn the .iso file onto the disk?
    3. How long does it take for the menu to pop up?
    4. When you select "Delete All" does it delete EVERYTHING or just files to make it like when it was made?

What does a original game cube controller looks like? And what does a modded gamecube controller looks like?

    Google Images - Gamecube controller.

A modded one looks like the same, just taken apart a bit so that the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT can be pressed simultaneously.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

my wii is a 3.1U and i got a drivekey and downloaded both disks (Offical Wii BackUp Disk v1.31 and UUD), installed the drivekey and to my surprise absolutely nothing happened, what a waste of cash and time, message to people out there on 3.1 don't bother wasting your money it DONT work.

    Addition............(29-07-2009)

Managed to get the firmware upgarded to 3.4 via wii sports resort, still nothing after that........

    YES i have the solution................
if you brick your wii then find the receipt, phone up 'GAME' and tell them its just stopped working, they say 'OK bring it in and we will replace it'
I now have a working Wii with another years ticket on it
