I got a bannerbrick (I believe). After pressing "A" at the HealthCheck screen, everything went black. The last thing I did was to install some Wads.
I follow the steps provided by ThreadStarter and is able to reach the main Menu of the Repair Disc.
However, when I try to select <Delete All> option, the following statement blink past which I believe it has auto cancel my selection.
"Are you sure you want to delete ALL user data?
Press A twice to confirm ...cancelled"
Anybody has any clue or suggestion? Just a step more to success. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Hope some of you guys can help me to un-brick my 4.1E Wii.
First of all,our Wii as already a Wasabi Zero modchip. This worked without any probem for at least a year.
Because we wanted to play games from a HDD, we did a softmod.Everything worked fine.
Games where started using USB loader GX as a channel.
Like I said, every worked fine until yesterday morning. My oldest son was playing Wii music and wanted to play something else so he started Mario Kart. (same copy that a friend of my uses without any problem)
Afte he started Mario Kart, screen went black, and nothing happend anymore.Controller did not react and light went on and off.
Now we have a as far as I can say a bricked Wii.
Reason why: NO IDEA
Like I said,he only started a new game.
He did not enter the Homebrew channel (I did gave the HC a new place on the Wii menu, all the way back so he wont get there easy) so I know for sure that no software was deleted
Now I downloaded the : UniversalUnbrickDisk V2 and the OfficialbackupDisk.
Also ge me a Gamecube controller.
But somehow I just can get the Wii to start.
This Is what I tried:
=Starting the Wii by just pressing all 4 buttons (controller is taken apart to make this possible) NO LUCK
=Starting by Pressing 4 buttons with UNIVERSALUNBRICK dvd in the drive.NO LUCK
=Starting by pressing 4 buttons with BACKUPDISK dvd in the drive: NO LUCK
Strange this I notice is that when I start the Wii my TV does not react at all (Panasonic Plasma)
I dont see any flickering or any reaction that something is attached to it.
I only hear a PLOP when I stop the Wii by pressing the Powerbutton a long time.
I wonder if buying a safemii can help me wake this Wii up (remember I have 4.1E installed)

@Seninha, if you get no flickering of the screen what so ever when turning the console on or reseting it then chances are very good the Video/Audio encoder IC (BU9055ekv) has gone. Normal symptoms. Wii turns on as usual (without screen) can reset, WiiMote can sync, disc will spin if turned on with disc inside. If disc is removed and replaced it will not spin, you will not be able to get the "Recovery menu" with a GC controller, there will be no audio and you will be able to feel vibration from Wii mote if pointed at screen and moving over channels (if vibration is enabled). A simple test can be done by measuring the voltage on pin 51. Whe the Wii is turned on you should get about 500mVDC. If you get no voltage the IC is most probably dead.
If you get flickering on the screen when turned on, then it's bricked or WiiFii / Bluetooth module is faulty.

Noob question bricked wii..
hi there, i bricked my wii after installing a bad wad. The wii turns on with a black screen and nothing else. Is this s banner brick or full brick? I don't have preloader or other stuff installed..yeah..i know.... i did try the gamecube controller thing and it worked, where it shows the version number of the wii. I can load game through this. Will a drivekey unbrick my wii? Thanks
