my bricked wii update
Finally, i send it to wii for warrenty, of course not telling them i have modded it. After 4 days, they called me saying there is a circuit board faulty inside, so they are going to replace my wii with a brand new one and another 12 months warrenty.

I bricked my wii today... I was trying to install the softmods to play the nsmb.
I have a 3.2U with wiikey 2 installed. I was following the softmod tutorial, but when I was installing the preloader, an exception ocurred and it got back to the homebrew channel. I reseted the wii and tried again, but the same ocurred, so I tried to unninstall the preloader to install it again, during the unninstalation it said something about losing the system menu and aborting ( I don't remeber the exact message) and got back to the homebrew. So I decided to forget about preloader, but when I left the hbc, it got to the preloader screen, and it couldnt get back to the system menu, when I tried it just got back to the preloader, and it also went to the preloader automatically when I turned the wii on. I searched in the forum and tried to install the system menu from a wad, but got the error -1022, so I tried to first uninstall the wad and then install again, but I got the same error. So I was going to try to install the system menu 4.1 instead of the 3.2, but when I went to the computer and got back to the wii, it was frozen (in the hbc) so I had to reset it in the plug. After that, I only get black screen =/.
When I turn the wii on, it flashs its light one time.
The wiikey config disk doenst works, but it stays spinning though.
I'll try the nintendo backup disc tomorrow (my dvd recorder isn't working), to use the backup disc can I just plug it in there or do I need also the savemii?
Should I hope to save this wii? And how?

Hi everyone, I have read through this whole thread and found nothing that can help me an 2 people with the sam problem. This is the setup. Wii shows Health screen then boots to / hangs in black screen.
Pal Wii with Drive Key installed and system software v4.1 no Preloader or BootMii installed and no Trucha Bug restored. I have seen many people recomend using Wadmanger or Anyregion Changer auto boot disk. These disks will not work as I do not have the Trucha Bug restored or a hacked ios36.
Does anyone know how to get WAD manger or HBC to boot on bannerbricked FW4.1? Alternatively how te get Trucha bug restored on bannerbricked FW4.1. Currently it seems like a major issue as Trucha bug is needed to run WAD manger boot disk and WAD manger is needed to restore trucha bug.
