yes its safe to use on lu64s
I have one more doubt, could hermes cIOS be installed in LU64?
I don't have network at home. Is there any way to avoid network installation of LU64 fix?

I do not know how to do want to be able to play back up games on my wii.
I want to be able to copy my original games to have just in case or when my child scratches them all up and no longer useable pull out the original for use.
What do I need to buy?

Don'twhat type of LG drive do I buy?
None but you'll need to download a few free things.what type of software do I buy?
Creating backups can be done in two ways, one is to use the LG drive as you mentioned and the other is to load what we call a USB Loader, this software allows us homebrewers to attach a USB drive to our Wii and load games directly from it. This does away with the need for DVDs and even kids can use it.
Here's a quick rundown of what you'll need to do. You'll need an SD card and a USB drive of some description.
- Get Homebrew channel (this tutorial)
- Get a cIOS http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-any-wii.html
- Get cIOS 38 rev 13 installed http://www.wiihacks.com/customizatio...waninkoko.html
- Install USB Loader http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...der-1-5-a.html
Think that's it.
