Thanks for the great instructions, but I'm still having trouble! Upon trying to install ISO16 via the Wad Installer 1.3 I get an error (ret = -1035) and cannot proceed. Any advice?? Thanks in advance.

1035 is usually fixed by uninstalling ios249...but you shouldn't have it yet? have you?

    Updates

Hi Dogeggs, thanks for the VERY fast reply! I just went through my folder (on my PC) containing the stuff that I've been messing around with and found a zip called cIOS249_rev8 and also one called cIOS_rev9. I don't specifically recall installing either one, but very possibly may have while experimenting a while back.

To make a short story long, I've only had this Wii for about 2 months (bought it in Canada) and when I first hooked it up I let it update to the lastest system menu (4.0U). A little while after that I decided to try installing some homebrew just for the emulators (being of a certain age I can't resist getting my NES/SNES fix from time to time)... Anyway, I got the homebrew channel installed no problem, and then after doing a bit more research I decided to see if I could make my Wii play backups just to see if I could...

Assuming I had installed ios249, can you tell me how to proceed?

    Thanks,

    -Rob.

PS: My kids use this Wii more than I do and they've got about 100$ worth of WiiWare. I'd rather not deal with it getting deleted, but if I have to format my system memory or something I'd be up for it...

[I just tried to run the IOS249 uninstall to see if it did anything and get a ret -1 error... Don't know if that is helpful but thought I would mention it.]

Mario Kart not working, ran LU64 on 3.4U

Hi, I just got a LU64 Wii with 3.4U. Installed HBC and the LU64 Fix, there are few games I cannot run, including Mario Kart and I really wanted this. After I click the loader channel, the screen blink green as usual but then nothing happens. I have a Samsung TV and it seems it is not detecting any signal after the blink of green color. Any idea what to do? Should I try installing any other IOS?

@ro8 - run title lister to see whqat you have on your wii..

@avruser2 - try reburning games at lower speed...
