It should look like this:

    SD:/app/cios36_rev10-installer

@ryeallen: Which files are you talking about? cIOS? USB Loader?

Here is the link to the Custom IOS36 rev 10: LINK
(Currently I am using Revision 13: LINK)
Here is the link to SD/USB Loader v1.5:LINK

These were taken straight from Waninkoko's blog
I have a similar problem. Ive downloaded all the files and places them in the right folders (renaming to boot.dol). When i go to Homebrew channel and load /app/cIOS36_rev10-Installer/boot.dol (then i click load) I get a Black Screen and nothing happens.
My SD card is formatted to FAT32 and my Current version is 4.2

This is not the case, I have installed usb loader 1.5 and backed up many games to my HDD and they load perfect with no chip installed. This goes for both ntsc and pal games, 90% of my games on my HDD came from dvd-r discs.

Got to say I think this is one of the best things ever for the wii. Having all your games on one HDD and no more noise coming from the disc drive in the wii.
I see I have alot reading to do

I have one problem with the USB HDD. Everything works fine, but whenever I turn off my Wii and turn it on again, I have to unplug the USB HDD, or it isn't detected. This happens in both Neogama and USB Loader

The HDD is WD Passport 2.5" 250 GB

    Any ideas?

    Question

I'm running 4.1u on a LU72. If I load ' USB Loader GX v 1.0 r807 ' through the homebrew channel, it loads fine & all. But if I try to install it as a channel / as a shortcut to the SD card, it says it was successful, but when trying to open the channel, it just goes black, freezes, and my Wii controller looses connectivity.

Is this a common / known issue? Should I just be using some other USB loader?

    Thanks =]
I am having the same problem... i upgraded from original 4.0u and my wii won't read back up disk (for D2 i guess).
So any solution to run as a channel ?
    Thanks

    Question about VC games

I know that they (VC games) can be run using the SD card and using blocks on the wii to save them, however space fills up very quick doing this. Is there a way to use your usb drive instead of wii blocks? I have far more room on my 500gb external. If there is an answer to this somewhere on the site, please link it, because I have been unable to find an answer by searching thus far.

    Thanks,

    Shadowedge88 (HBC newbie)
