Thanks for such a helpful tutorial and website.
Up and running, and backing up those $20-$50 discs.
And they play perfectly from the $60 Walmart WD 250GB slim external USB HDD

I am using the same version of cIOS as you, but not Neogamma. I tried launching USB Loader through HBC and I got no problems at all. The crash only occurs when I run USBLoader channel from the Wii menu.
Also, using USBLoader channel, the game in my HD cannot be deteted, but its fine when I run it through HBC. Could the problem be associated with the channel installation?
can this works on cracked wii game..?
I have been burning iso DVDs and wearing out my Wii drive for quite some time now.
My LG drive allows me to make backup ISO files of my Wii games so that they do not get scratched when played.
Burning them to a DVD-r at x1 is a time consuming and laborious task.
Wearing out my Wii Drive is a serious concern.
I accidentally stumbled across this miraculous forum when I Google'd for the impact of the latest Wii Firmware updates on my Wiikey version 1 with 1.9s
Please could someone email me or post a current and updated set of steps and links to rtesourses that I would need to follow to allow my collection
of Wii ISO backup files to be played via an external portable USB drive. Eventually I would like to replace the portable
HD with a USB/Compact Flash 32Gb so that there is no wear and tear on my Wii or any hard drive.
I have Wii System Update release 4.1 & Wiikey 1.9s PAL & the Config + Setup Disc
Kind Regards and THank you in advance

Roof - Best look for USB Loader 1.5 or USB Loader GX.
bobthejambo - All application files (boot.dol) must reside in their own folder within the apps folder on your SD card, thus:-
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
do you always have to go to the homebrew channel to get to the usb loader
or can it have its own channel and if so how do you do it
