Before using wbfs tool, you must initialize the drive. Preferably pre-format your USB drive to FAT32.
'X' in the following examples represents your drive letter, for example, G.
*init the partition:
wbfs_win.exe X init
*estimate the size of the iso on the USB drive
wbfs_win.exe X estimate <your_wiidisc.iso>
*add an iso to your partition
wbfs_win.exe X add <your_wiidisc.iso>
*list the wiidisc that are on the wbfs, you will get the DISCID, game name, number of wide sectors used, and number of GB used.
wbfs_win.exe X list
*count the number of wide sectors / GB available on your partition
wbfs_win.exe X info
*build Homebrew Channel directories for all the games in your partition
This will actually make a directory for each game with the DISCID of the game,
copy the icon.png and boot.dol of the current directory, and make a meta.xml with the name of the game
wbfs_win.exe X makehbc
Then copy all the directories in the apps directory of your sdcard.
*remove a disc from wbfs
wbfs_win.exe X remove DISCID
*extract an iso from wbfs
wbfs_win.exe X extract DISCID
To use these commands you must open up a command prompt.
Do this Start > RUN and type in cmd (vista users, use windows key + r)
Now you will have to goto the folder that contains WBFS do this like so
now run the commands above enjoy

Thanx man, I'm kind of a noob to wii hack world, or wii in general, how can i format it with the wii?
Well first format it on Vista to FAT32 next goto the wii plug it in launch the USB LOADER and it should ask you.
getting error :
could not initialize USB subsystem (ret = -6)
I'm using a 16gb usb flash drive
should i maybe use a drive that has its own power source?
The drive shouldn't matter, some are incompatiable.
That error is because you do not have the new CIOS with the system menu 4.0 updates,
http://www.wiihacks.com/news-annouce...der-1-1-a.html - download here
The CIOS is a .DOL file so you must put it in a folder then int othe apps section of the HDC so SD CARD > APPS > NEW CIOS > CIOS.DOl, if you get me?
i got ya, Modded the wii myself, but never went too much further into it.
i'll let you know
Keep me posted i am here for another 6 hours .. work is boring
also name the CIOS.dol to boot.dol .. can't believe i forgot that..
getting an error when i run cIOS36 rev9 installer
comes up stating reading ios36-64-v1042.wad then get a ret = -1
