attempted that. homebrew didnt see anything. i formatted it w/ WBFS Manager 3.0 and loaded the game on the card through the program. couldnt get the channel to see it though. i was reading about some ciso thing and was gonna be looking into that tomorrow. i think that makes WBFS defunct though doesnt it? cause it has to be in some APPS folder?

whoa! i didnt ask anything but what might be the issues with my dvd burning in the appropriate dvd burning thread. explained everything i did in full details. thats what i need help with ...
if and when i decided that that isnt going to work for me and im stuck on the alternative ways, then i'll read up on and post in the appropriate thread for that issue. thanks, but i hate the bs banning threats these kiddies get with a keyboard in front of them. i got kicked from blackcats for speaking my mind to a punk teenager mod. i got banned from xboxscene a few years ago for posting in the correct forum about games issues. im tired of it. grow the hell up and be helpful to those behind the curve and too busy with life, wives, houses, cars and other grown up stuff to be constantly in the know of all the rapid changes in the fast paced and ever changing electronic era. the internet ... serious business ! :/

Yea, this has been covered so many times it is almost unreal. there is a guide in the games section for the workaround.

I used WBFS to extract the ISO and used Nero 7.x to burn the image to DVD-R disc at both 4x and 12x. Both discs worked.

Hey I need some serious help. I have installed homebrew, neogamma v8 (I have the 4.2 wii), and have downloaded imgburn. I am burning on verbatim dvd+r discs. Everything is up and running but when I put in the backup disc I get error code 1167. I have burned the discs at 4x speed and 2x speed. Can someone PLEASE help?

ok, heres something i dont get

ImgBurn displays the info of the dvd under disk info
and then down there it says:
    supported write speeds :4x 8x 12x 16x(in the tutorial) and 6 8 12 16 in mine
but you still want us to burn it at the lowest possible even if its not on the supported speeds list

so do i go with slowest in the menu or slowest that it says is supported
