    Us Awesome Tutorial

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks so much for this. I've done this to about 5 different wii's and they all work great. Also thanks to all of the "FAILS" (people who got bricked) This could have easily been me and you showed me what not to do. My condolences for your loss though. If anyone's interested the wii's I did this on were 3.2U, 3.3U and 3.4U

    Thanks again!

    Shouldn't preloader be installed next?

This guide only has up to installing 4.1 on your wii. Wouldn't the next step be installing PRELOADER so that you can skip disk updates to prevent bricks???? If so, what steps need to be followed and is there a guide on WIIHACKS that is recommended for the 4.1 update? Thanks.

There are lots of threads about preloader. You can just download the preloader wad and install it thru wad manager. I've used this guide many times on many wii's. If you want to update to 4.1 this is the guide for you. What would be the point in updating to 4.2 anyways? If it's not broke (and you have preloader installed to block updates) why mess with it?

    I have wii 3.4 E wiikey v2
From what I have read the forum upgrade to 4.1 is a bit risky .
    I have a backup wii - bootmii .
I do not, of course, preloader.Do I have any lifebuoy?
Will I be able to benefit in some way with this copy of Wii ?
Nor do I know whether the other zone moves with the Wiikey v2.
From what I have already heard the 4.2 did not go

Installed 4.1 but with wii shop chanel, far everything is good or I might brick the console ?

There is no 3.5E Firmware. Also it would help if you say what that error was

kevinlex: before you start, make sure you have a NAND backup of your Wii.

Here is a link for Wad Manager 1.4: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zmcwyynynmj

@cedric1 - I presume your TV is not digital, making the number hard to read? There is no 3.5E, Anyway, your error code means a number of possible problems as the error is essentially-can't find file. The possible sources for this error include: SD card not properly formatted, SDHC used instead of SD card, SD card is bad or incompatible, file is in wrong location on SD card, file was corrupted in process of download or extraction.
