stimpy - your card should look something like this -apps and wad folder are all you will need, put your apps insde the apps folder and if you want the neogamma channel then that should go in the wad folder to be installed with wad manager. If not just put the .dol version in a folder inside your apps folder. got that? or have i confused you more?!

Thanks again dogegg, now again, I am researching while working, so I am not at the unit. But let's say I have the neogamma installed, do I just overwrite that folder on the sd card with the new version? Or do I have to uninstall/remove the old version first?

Also in the screen shot there are some files on the root of th sd card boot.dol and iso wad. Can I put them in a sub folder as others are listed under the app folder? Or do I need these at the root and if so what are they (ie the boot.dol)? I understand the other is an install of an ios38.

The only time something is 'installed' is when you install it as a wad, anything else just runs off your sd card, wads should be uninstalled with anytitle deleter and stuff on your sd can just be deleted.
Those things on the root are there for specific purposes that you won't need, its a screenshot of a card set up with bannerbomb (boot.dol for hbc), preloader (hacks.ini) and the ios38 is for a wad install of cios38r13. Ignore them, it's just an example.

Ok in my screen shot under 6. Cios installer folder I will copy the entire contents of cios38r13.rar file? That will included

    apps - 6. cios_installer - in this folder is a single iso38-64-v3610.wad file

under 6 above I have another folder - cios38_rev13a_installer with 5 files two are basic txt file then the boot.dol, icon.png and meta.xml.

This does not sound right from what you are saying, do I need to move the wad file to another location? and move the 5 files up a folder???

    Thanks

yes m8 - move the files up a folder - or just move the folder into the apps folder and copy the ios38 onto the root of the card...like in the pic i linked to.

Hit you in a few threads, but here is where I am at now..

    Picasa Web Albums - Mike

Ok in order on the image above (if you can help verify)

    1. Wad manager - copied the latest one I could find here wad-manager_v1.4.dol
    2. Custom WM - this is left over from when I did the intital hack HB, starfall, zelda hack i beleive. Probably not needed anymore???
    3. IOS downgrader - this is also left over from the original hack to get me back to 3.2u. Probably not needed anymore???
    4. Firmware downgrader - same as above. need or not???
    5. Anytitle_deleter_HBC - just found this and copied over, i beleive it is needed to remove a cios. Is that correct? Will this show me what cios are currently installed??
    6. The new CIOS Rev13 installer that I will need to run Ghostbusters. i have copied all files here and moved the wad to the wad folder off the root.
    9. neogamma 4. needed to run GB. Not sure, I have never need to run games through this since I have had a wiichip installed. So some help here would be appreicated.
Ok how does that sound and look???

Am I ready to go?? Launch homebrew and install #6 above?

I already have a neogamma on my wii menu, but i beleive from what dogegg has explained to me that it's not installed and just runs from that folder. I am still a little confused here..

Thanks again, I know I am close...

Thanks to you Dogeggs! See the second half below, I do a few more questions if you have time..

Ok here is what I did to get Ghostbusters finally working.

    1. Loaded up my sd card with the new iso38-64-v3610.wad in the apps folder, putting the associated wad in the wad folder.
    2. Added the new neogamma4 to the apps folder as well.

Started wii, loaded HB, updated HB channel, went to cios updated, updated to using ios38-64-v3610.wad, got a -1 error but went through (i beleive doggeggs said this is possible and just to skip through it). Then went to the neogamma loaded under HB and installed that and it ran. Selected load game from DVD and it worked.

I hope this helps everyone out who is having trouble with running these games with a hardware mod wiikey.

I do have 3 questions that are still lingering.
    1. Before I updated to neogamma4, with my sd card out I still had a neogamma loader menu option, does it update this or do I need to uninstall it?
    2. If I do have to uninstall it how do I do this I looked at anytitledeleter, but it was pretty scary, I was not sure where to go and it was pretty cryptic with numbers not names...
    3. Probably difficult to answer but I have a wiikey II and I don't understand why I need neogamma4 to launch games (I mean I know that it's a new 002 protection) but should wiikeyII update their firmware to address this? I have checked the d2cpro site and nothing since end of 2008.

Lastly BIG BIG BIG thanks to Dogeggs for all the help and time it took to help me out..........

1: by menu optios do you mean a channel? ie one of those little tv screens on the menu? you will need to uninstall and install a newer one, or just leave it....or just uninstall it...up to you
2: use this version of ATD, it lists names from a database.txt that you put on the root of your card.
3: no idea - try asking in the chip section

    1. yes it's a wii menu option and it appears that it's the original one that I must have installed when I did the hb channel.

NOTE: the error I got on the installing the cios is ok correct?

    2. I would like to remove it from the menu (just to learn) and put the newer neogamma 4 on the wii menu.. I will download the file and seach the db.txt file for that version (I guess this is correct) then use the anytitle delete and delete. I look at the anytitledelete and I could not figure out what option it would have been under as well?
    3. Yea, I thought about that and did. I have also emailed canadamods but no response, but I have posted in the chips setions. Thanks.

Just a little more help on # 2. Seached the db.txt but I do not see a listing for it, nothing for neogamma at all... How can I delete this old will menu option for neogamma???

And then once they get the gxusbloader bugs out I am going to try that.. I want to wait a little longer to see how it all pans out. In reading it looks awsome keeping them on a usb and then being able to manage from a windows computer. So this will be my next attempt.
