hi guys dont know if im right place or not but i installed bootmii and didnt have a sd card that was big enough to backup my nand now got 1,so once i backup my nand does this make my wii virtually brick proof?

i recomend all who want to update to 4.0 first install bootmii if possible and back up your wii nand to sd its perfect for restoring after afail or brick works on both my wiis

OK, followed OP instructions to the letter. Previously installed homebrew works but homebrew channel itself NO LONGER WORKS. Plus, Backup Loader channel has been removed with the upgrade. So for me, all previously installed homebrew works but i cant install any more. The originial post should really expressly state that this happens or may happen. PS I have a european wii dont know if that makes any difference.

theres plenty of ways to downgrade to 3.2 again but i keep saying if you have 3.2 and its working ok dont bother upgrading you can but ata least install bootmii and backyup your nand it will restore to earlier time on m,ost wiis with no issues ive tried it 4.0 doesnt seem to work well enough yet so i just restores my nand in bootmii now back to 3.2 again with all my channels on

ok, I did not see this channel.
I already had cIOS38 Rev13b installed
I installed Firmware 4.0 from Waninkoko and it installed everything without asking me to install it or not.
Now, Im back at the menu, I can load my backup channel fine but the homebrew channel when I try to launch it, I just get a black screen.
Now what do I do?
I fix it with Bannerbomb...now my homebrew works along with wad manager.
but I still cant get these games working:
Punch out - game disk could not be read
Ghostbuster - green screen
I have 4.0u, cIOS38 rev13b, IOS38,37,51,53,55,60,61 + IOS60Patcher all installed, any other solutions?
