I have the orginal Rb1 and 2 game and both work fine with all instruments. I recently downloaded Lego Rock band and load it up from usb hd with wiiflow. My problem is I can get the Mic to work but it wont reconize the drums or guitar. Ive searched everywhere to try and find a fix. Anyone know what I can do to fix this problem??? I am sure I will have to correct this problem before I finish my download of Country Pack as well. Thanks

I have just recently soft-modded my Wii (4.2E) using the "Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!!" on this website. I have been using Wiiflow, Neogamma and USB Loader to load backups and so far so good- everything is working fine from both DVDs and my HDD.

Until today when I tried the Beatles Rockband. I bought the Rockband 1 Drumkit as I know they work with the game, and plugged it alongside my HDD but got o signal. So I burned the game to a disk, removed the HDD and plugged in the drumkit. I got a blue signal but the 4 four player lights were only dimly lit. Games played fine but drumkit would not respond as soon as game loaded, and game kept asking me to plug in a microphone (which I dont have).

I have been all over the internet searching solutions to no avail!

So I installed SoftChipp 99, but it wouldn't let me load from IOS 232. In fact, I have never seen 232 on my wii- it skips from 222,223,249!

I have also used CiosInstaller (again could not find 232) and resorted to cIOSCORP v 3.3 which won't let me play backups through the disk channel as promised!

Like I said, I done everything stated in the guides and tutorials, but it seems without IOS 232 I am stuck!

Also, when I try to play The Beatles Rockband from Softchip, I get a blackscreen and the drums light goes off. And also, there is no problem with the drumkit.

So if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

PS. I am a woman so be nice
Just quoting this post as I have the same problema dn haven't found an answer. Can anyone help us?

FIRST YOU NEED TO COPY ALL THE CONTENT INSIDE THE "COPY TO ROOT OF SD" TO SD CARD THEN YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS

1 - Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer
2 - Read the warning message and push A
    3 - Select IOS249 to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
4 - Select to Install Custom IOS 222 and select Use IOS38 merged with IOS37
5 - Wait for download and installation to complete
6 - Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer again
7 - Select IOS249 "again" to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
8 - This time select Custom IOS 223 and select IOS38 merged with IOS60
8 - Start the Homebrew Channel and run Wad manager 1.5
    9 - select USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad and install on ios 249
10 - Quit wad manager, quit homebrew channel.
11 - Now, in your wii system menu look for USB loader CFG channel, click on it and Start it!
12 - prees B so it can show the list of your games
    12 - find and Select GH5 game
    13 - press 1 on the control
14 - scroll down until u selected ISO: set it to use ios 222-mload
15 - click A to start game (there should be a green line acros the screan for a couple secounds, its good) and the game should load then ROCK ON!!! XD
16 - dont take out the sd card just leave it in your wii

For anyone who wants to know, I managed to successfully get my instruments working again through this method.

I have a PAL wii V4.1e and a NTSC backup of rock band 2.

I installed the file from the first post on IOS 232, then got softchip and ran the game through that using IOS 232.

Initially I tried using 249 but that didn't work, the file found errors.

    Free DLC for me now

I think I use 223, game works off usb with guitar, I havent tried the usb hub to see if it works with all instruments though.
