I need router help... Why cant my wii connect???

at one time i set up my wii online. i just did the search on the wii and it picked it right up. later on i bought a wireless printer and when i set it up the printer fround my router but wouldnt connect. Now my wii wont connect either. i set it up and it finds my router, asks for the password, and saves the settings. After that it does the testing for a connection and it comes up error code 52030, unable to connect to the internet. im not sure what the deal is.

easiest way to test your access point is to remove any encryption and allow all connections. This will test if your router is not working on the wireless side. Ensure if your doing this to know what information your changing therefore if the test is successful then you can revert back or spot the issue that was stopping conactivity.

anyone? I am wondering if my ip addresses are matching up between my wii and computer? When i first got the router over the phone the netgear rep had me directly plug my laptop to the router and i could make adjustments to it. i cant remeber what i had to type into the search bar to log into the router or know if this is even the problem?

My router is working. I have 2 laptops that connect to it fine for my internet connection. I have an internet box that has a cable going from it to the router.

from one of the laptops do the following.

Windows Key + R (or start > run)

    Type CMD <enter>
    then type ipconfig

It should result with something like this.
    Windows IP Configuration

    Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : XXX.XXX.XXX
    Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::29a3:5208:f0e0:6899%11
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.115
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
You can see my default gateway is my router. Now for your connection you should try opening a webrowser once you get this information and try the following.

    https://<yourgatewayip> eg https://192.168.0.1
    or http://<yourgatewayip>

This should open the configuration pages once you supply the username and password.

For netgears the default username is admin and password is password.

Check for those details such as mac address filtering in the wireless settings and any other issues you can see.
