    Sundisk not found (Win 7 x64)

    I have installed a sundriver to my wii along with a 250Gb hdd samsung but the sundisk program don't find the sundrive. The led shines in blue at start up but then only in red.

    Windows 7 x64
    In order to use the programmer PC tool on Vista or Windows7 you need to set the compatibility via properties of the programmer file to “Windows XP (Services Pack 3)”.
    This option is set and running as admin but no luck still.

    Have checked all cables and formated the harddrive in windows.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    *Edit* (same as post #7)
    Just want to update my situation.

    Windows 7 have no problem finding the hard drive fitted into the wii and I can use it a regular harddrive.
    But the Sundisk program cannot acknowledge there is a hard drive fitted to the sundrive in the wii, just says "SunDisk not found".

    Have double checked every step of the installation of the hardware and no problem there.

    Anyone got any clue on what can be the issue;
    -Faulty sundrive?
    -Must use windows xp in order to set it up the first time?
    -Something else?

    Everything is up to date what I can think of, tried both sundisk program v1.3 and v1.7 but none of them can detect the sundriver.

    Just want to update my situation.

    But the Sundisk program cannot acknowledge there is a hard drive fitted to the sundrive in the wii, just says "SunDisk not found".

    Anyone got any clue on what can be the issue;
    -Faulty sundrive?
    -Must use windows xp in order to set it up the first time?
    -Something else?

    • check box ( run this program in compatibility mode for) xp service pack 3

    You need to check that all the cables are installed correctly, it could be that one of them is not, that would cause the red light that you are getting.
