Sundriver but my eject button doesnt work (actually broken before install)

    Hi guys,
I have a first gen wii which i put in a wiikey into it and used to travel alot with it, which resulted in being left in the boot of my car over night a few times, moisture got in and ruined the battery which spilt onto the eject button.

So I installed the homebrew channel and used to use a very simple program which soft ejected the discs for me, so i could still use my backed up games. Well after about a year of that the disc used to just randomly eject during gameplay so I decided to get a sundriver... i installed it, put on the menu upgrade, installed 3 games, used the gamecube menu and a gamecube controller. Selected a game an it loaded perfectly.... BUT

When i restarted or turned it off, or plugged it out ... when i would start back up again the same game would be displayed, it would not go back to the gamecube sundriver menu... so I tried using the homebrew soft eject software ... and now it just says could not read disc its like i have disabled the sundriver... all the switches are to the right (away from the led). I have tried installing a new game and installing the menu upgrade again but still can't get it to be recognised.

    So ...
    A) How can I get it to be recognised again considering i have NO eject button haha
    b) If I ever do get it working again and i want to change the game i'm playing how can i change game (again with no eject button)

I read that you can use a PC to select the games but not sure how, hopefully I can turn back on the sundriver through PC aswell.. thanks to anyone who can help

Hey I found a solution so wanted to pass it on... in the manual it says you can use the PC to control the game selection but never actually explain how to do this ... so I will explain for others

    1. Turn on your wii
    2. Connect USB to your PC and open up the Sundriver_Programmer application on your PC
    3. Once the application has recognized select "Use PC Config"
    4. In the bottom box which displays all the games on the sundriver, highlight the game you want to load. Three stars *** will be places to the left of the highlighted game
    5. Click Save Config
    6. Unplug the USB from the wii and then go to play the game and it should load which ever game you selected on the sundriver-programmer.

Once your finished just turn it off with the power button and repeat step 1-6 to load the next game. Hope this helps others

or you can use the switch to select the game, but you just can select 15 games in this mode.
the advantage is you don't need link it to PC anymore if you want to change the game.
