    GC Menu doesn't load

I've followed the instructions to the letter. I formatted. I receive no errors when updating the GC menu using the programmer app and I can also install game ISOs and see them in the list in the programmer app. The switches are all facing to the right. When I unplug the USB cable the SunDriver light blinks a few times but the GC manu never appears in the Disc Channel. If I select the Disc Channel, the light blinks again and I get the error "Unable to read the disc." If I reconnect the USB cable I can again see the game ISOs I have loaded.

I have a Wii purchased in December and had the new unmoddable dvd drive. I updated to 4.3 2 days before I learned about modding so I purchased the SunDriver. I have tha IDE - CF version and have tried both a 40g and 100g drive that were working properly in a usb drive enclosure.

I am excited about this solution and I hope it can work for me. What am I missing or doing wrong? Could there be a defect?

I greatly appreciate your time and efforts in helping me with this.

There are two different routes that you can choose for modding your wii. You can either Hard-mod your wii with mod-chips or you can Soft-mod. We have a in-house trusted supplier for mod-chips Here, very trusted site, and great customer service. When and if you going to hard-mod your wii there is a great section here on the forum. Mod-Chip Section
    ---
On the Flip-Side you can soft-mod you wii using only a SD Card... The guides that are here have been tried and tested and do work... DON'T FOLLOW FAIL-TUBE VIDS.... The first step that you need to do is find out what system menu version your wii is. After you find out that piece of information there are two guides that you can use.
If you are on 3.1-4.1 system menu you can use the guide by dogeggs: [[Guide]]
If you are on the 4.2 system menu the you can use the guide by Shadowsonic2: [[Guide]]

I was able to get it working. While the User Manual says you can unplug the USB cable and the GC menu should appear after installing it, I found in another forum that I must hit the EJECT button to make it appear after installing it. This works and I am very pleased.
