You got a premium account on RS? There are long wait times in between different parts, aren't there, unless you pay for the premium account? Also, what speed do you get when using RS?

Yeah I have a premium account. I usually get one about every other month. The roughly 11 bucks a month for the premium is well worth it for all the movies and games I download.

Btw, whats was your speed on RapidShare with the Premium account? And is it in anyway possible to get caught downloading iso files?

Using Free Download Manager I get 300-500k/s roughly 0.5mb/s. So a 100mb file (which is what the iso are usually broke up into) takes me 4-5 mins. However I usually have 2-5 of these files downloading simultaneously. You can que up as many files as you want to cap out your download speeds. Your individual speed will really depend on how many files you que up to dl at a single time, and your bandwidth.

Not sure what you mean by getting caught. Far as I know, in the global sense no you will not get caught.

Ahhh, you parallel download, that's why it's so fast...And when I say geting caught, does anyone monitor the files you download off sites like RapidShare and MegaUpload?

No one monitors the files you download other than how much stuff you DL from RS and MU. I know for RS that you can only download so many MB per day per month.

how do you determine the speed of the dowload with seed and leeches and stuff? Sorry Im pretty much a noob

Here is my view on Rs/MU vs Torrents

When i can get my hands on a free premium account i side with rs and mu but that isnt likley and hard to find.

Torrents on the other hand are slower but probly 100x faster then mu/rs without premium because the download limits.

so torrents are far better unless you have a premium account

sollution: dont be tight, spend 10 bucks a month, and download a game in a fraction of the time u can with usless torrents

So I suppose if you are going to get premium then it would be better to go with MU as it has no download limit whereas RS has limit of 10GB/day?
