When viewing a thread in the forum, the FIRST POST in the thread, is always on the top, which is a nice feature - most of the times. In [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] for example, it is VERY annoying, as the post is long, and the block with thanks is even larger....
Why is it a silly idea? A feature to hide it would only benefit? Those that wish to see it, can leave it there, and those who dont, can hide it?
It saves time when navigating the forum. If you view a thread in which you have posted before, and know the initial post, it is unnecessary scrolling to get past the top of the page..?

It doesn't appear on all posts, just some of the brick ones and tutorials. It's important that people can load any page and have a quick reference back to the first post and to give thanks to the post originator.

It's important that people can load any page and have a quick reference back to the first post
Personally, I like this feature the way it is. Especially when there are 50 pages of posts, after awhile of reading, I forget what the original post was all about. It's nice to just scroll up and see.
Its also nice when using the search function... your query may end you up somewhere in the middle of the thread... and its nice to see what the original post was about as well rather quickly..

If thats the case, then the feature is fine with me. As i am still new to modding wii's, i have moved mostly in the sections you mentions, and therefore i wasnt aware of the fact that its not enabled on all parts of the forum.
Just close this threads, the feature should remain enabled
