is it possible to have an external hard drive plugged into the usb on the back of the wii and to open up a channel like .03 gamma and boot wii iso's off the hard drive?

Flatmii is the closest thing that is to that, and its far from that good, but you got to ask yourself if its doable why hasnt it been done

i like my idea better its kinda like yours but its a wireless connection to. two networked pcs each with terabite drives

i like this idea its kinda like the psp booting iso's from the memory stick it'd be great if it could be done

It would be excelent if it could be done but it probably wont be able to be done, as the wii doesnt do anything with the USB slots apart from charging stuff or a keyboard, and doesnt the programing to do this, thats why they opened it up and made it happen that way

theres a modchip that says you can do it, but like i said in my first post, this isnt a original idea, or even ground breaking

Well I see alot of Emulation going on for the Wii-Channels /Homebrew like N64,
Saturn,PSX Etc. Do you think it's possible to run Mame? Or maybe a Dreamcast
emu like Nulldc on it?
