Hi, just one quick question. I softmodded my wii after it had been updated to 4.2 so I could only install bootmii as an ios, If i downgrade to 4.1 will I be able to install bootmii as boot2? It would give me great peace of mind knowing I have some sort of brick prevention.
I guess this has been answered elsewhere but I cant find it, also if I downgrade will I need to update all my ios's again?
No, you can't install BootMii as Boot2 after downgrading. And no, you don't have to update IOSes after downgrading: you only downgrade the System Menu, and not the IOSes.Quote:

Re-format your SD Card as FAT32. Don't choose Fast Format, but Full Format.
I just successfully downgraded my recently update wii from 4.3 to 4.1 ! on Christmas eve lol ! Worked 100%, Had no problems at all. Everything went just like you said in the tutorial.
