    I'll admit that there is a mistake in the "Make" file in steps 15 & 16 for the windows tutorial. There should be an extra step immediately after. However I will no longer spoon feed you here. If you cannot figure out how to compile benzin properly, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING IT.
    Though I'm sure if you looked hard enough, you could find a compiled binary somewhere.
    I'm not asking for a spoon shoved in my open mouth here but maybe a little hint. I am not a C++ programmer but I am a programmer by trade. I'm not one of those people that just follow instructions blindly just to get to the end. I like to know what I am doing and understand why as much as I can but I have know idea where to even start on this one. I looked around for a binary but I'm not even sure what I should be looking for. I have made my way through several issues with various wii since I joined this site and feel like I know the system better than most people. If you don't want to pass it on then I understand and I will continue to try and figure it out myself but it's late and I am ready to move on past this part in your guide.

    edit: I did find a benzin.exe file but I don't want to just download executable files unless I know I can trust the source.

    I just want to pass on a warning to everyone. I was trying to change the size of the Health Screen by following this guide and I obviously made a mistake somewhere because I bricked my wii (haven't done any debug yet). I thought OK, no big deal I will just launch Priiloader, run Dop-mi and reinstall the SM. That was before I realized that Priiloader was gone or at least would not launch. I am fortunate enough to have bootmii installed as boot2 so I was able to easily fix my wii by placing the bootmii folder on my SD and then reinstall my SM. I then was thinking that somewhere down the line of my experimenting with this wii that I forgot to install Priiloader so I installed it and again loaded the known corrupt SM and guess what... NO PRIILOADER.

    THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROCESS AND EVEN IF YOU HAVE PRIILOADER YOU MIGHT NOT BE PROTECTED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BOOTMII AS BOOT2 I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUIDE.

    Other then that Fiire, I found this guide very usefull and will continue on.

    Ok, I updated the guide. Krafter's problem came with an improperly compiled benzin, so I just uploaded mine. Hopefully this fixes any problem. If something still persists, please feel free to let me know.

    I just thought I would share some batch files to make things a little easier when converting brlyt files.

    To make the batch:
    1. Copy the following text.
    2. Open Notepad and paste.
    3. Click save as.
    4. Select the file type as "All Files".
    5. Save as someting like BRLYTtoXMLYT.bat and XMLYTtoBRLYT.bat and save in your benzin folder. Be sure to add the ".bat" file extension when you save.

    BRLYTtoXMLYT
    Code:
    for %%x in (*.brlyt) do start benzin r "%%x" "%%~nx".xmlyt
    for %%x in (*.brlan) do start benzin r "%%x" "%%~nx".xmlan
    rem pause
    XMLYTtoBRLYT
    Code:
    for %%x in (*.xmlyt) do start benzin m "%%x" "%%~nx".brlyt
    for %%x in (*.xmlan) do start benzin m "%%x" "%%~nx".brlan
    rem pause

    To use the batch files:
    1. Place your .brlyt file into the Benzin folder
    2. Double click BRLYTtoXMLYT.bat file
    3. A new file has just been created. Move both files from the Benzin folder into your workspace folder.

    *Note:
    Follow the same steps to convert xmlyt files to brlyt files. Just use the XLMYTtoBRLYT.bat file instead.

    How would you go about chaining the dimensions of the it_has_b_US_eng file? I want the a file and the b file to be the same dimensions so I can pull of a glow effect, like in this video. YouTube - The Conduit Theme CSM Released!

    You have to modify the associated brlyt file. Messing with the dimensions and brlyts is the fastest way to brickville. Do you have Boot2? Priiloader is not enough. Believe me..... I know first hand.

    edit: Now that I'm now driving down the interstate trying to type this on my phone, lol, I will add a little more.

    I guarantee 100% that if you make one small mistake while messing with the brlyt file that you need to change to do what you want too, YOU WILL FULLY AND COMPLETELY BRICK IF YOU DON"T HAVE BOOT2. Priiloader will be removed/corrupted. This was one of the first mistakes I made when I started messing with themes. I have talked about this many many times and if you search the forums will will see that or just look at post #12 in thies very thread. Continue at your own discretion if you choose to but it is absolutely not advised without boot2.

    If you do have boot2 then I will be glad to assist you as much as I can.

    yeah, take Krafter's advice. However, in any case, open up that conduit theme and do some induction. Compare it to the it_Has_a.brlyt from your base.app. It is really very simple. First open up your pictures in an editing software and figure out where your pixel dimensions need to match up. Then change the postion of your "press A button" (which is it_Has_b_US_ENG if your region is NTSC-U) in your it_Has_a.brlyt file. For example, in the conduit theme, the designer just moved the position of it_Has_b_US_ENG from
    y = -255 to y = 84.

    I changed the pose of the it_has_b_us_eng file but when i start up my wii, it is still at the bottom! D:

    <texture name="it_Has_b_US_ENG.tpl">
    <wrap_s>00</wrap_s>
    <wrap_t>00</wrap_t></texture>
    <tex_coords>
    <x1>0.0000000000</x1>
    <y1>61.0000000000</y1>
    <angle>0.0000000000</angle>
    <x2>0.0000000000</x2>
    <y2>61.0000000000</y2></tex_coords>

    Thats the line i edited. Wrong line? were do i edit? Is this brlyt being read? I put the container for this brlyt as container 20. :\
