Wii Sports Resort on WiiFlow

i really enjoy WiiFlow compaired to USB Loader (gx or any other version). I have been searching the web for weeks to perfect this game. I have found out how to play this game perfectly and i have tried this same thing on 4 other wii's. I am now letting the world enjoy.
I run all my games on a dual partioned hdd (fat32 and wbfs) without a single sd card.
I originally downloaded the PAL version of Wii Sports Resort and was tricky. So I rented the USA version and used WiiFlow to install the game onto the hdd (pg. 2 on wiiflow settings).
I then used the original game to get the most important file of all.... the save game file. Yes, the save data! I have found that this is a very important file needed.
Next i tweeked the WiiFlow settings (the settings on the bottom of screen).
This is my settings:
pg 5 of 6>
*Default Video Mode = NTSC (since my new super mario bros. and a few other games are PAL)
*Error 002 fix = ON

on the Wii Sports Resort settings:
pg. 1 of 3>
*Video Mode = default
*Language = default
*DOL = main.dol

pg. 2 of 3>
*patch country strings = OFF
*Error 002 fix = default
*Vipatch = Off
*IOS = default

pg 3 of 3>
*Block IOS reload = OFF
*Patch Video Modes = NONE

I then used WBFS Manager to Extract ISO of the game to the PC and used WiiScrubber to get to the actual dol file and extracted this file and renamed it to RZTE01.dol.
I then copied this dol file to the root of my hdd fat32 side. I then went back into Wiiflow and selected the game and Presto! it worked.

NOW I HAVE THE SAVE FILE AND THE DOL FILE AND NO CLUE TO HOW TO UPLOAD THESE FOR EVERYONE. SO IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN SHOW ME HOW THEN THIS WOULD BE A GREAT HELP FOR EVERYONE.

If you dont want to rent the game then try the download method:

I found a torrent with the USA version (NTSC) including the dol file here (this is on demonoid.com and you need to be a member to download it. if your not a member or dont know a member then rent the game for a day). The game online allready comes with the Alt-dol file. All u need to do is change the name from RZTE.dol to RZTE01.dol (if your WiiFlow runs games on a 6 digit game id).

AGAIN IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME UPLOAD THE SAVE DATA AND DOL FILE WOULD HELP EVERYONE EASIER.

Well I just got this game today and came across this thread and many others since I, like many, didn't have this game work right away.

For me, all I had to do was grab the player.dol file the way you described using wiiscrubber, renamed it RZTE01.dol and put it on the root of my SD card.

Started up Wiiflow, had error 002 fix ON on both wiiflow and the settings for the individual game. Now, this is where mine differs a little. Under the game settings, I thing page 1/3, I changed the DOL from main.dol to player.dol. Once I made sure those 3 options were on (error 002 fix on both wiiflow and game settings, plus the dol change) the game worked.

I watched the video about wiimotion installation, pressed A, it restarts to system menu, start wiiflow again, and change DOL back to main.dol from and the game should work fine everytime from then on.

Also, here is a rar file with the RZTE01.dol if anyone needs it. I don't have a save file, but that shouldn't be necessary I believe.

I think you took a bunch of unnecessary steps. I have a softmodded 4.2u system with wiiflow installed.

All I had to do was grab the player.dol from wiiscrubber like you said, made a copy of it and renamed it RZTE01.dol, threw it on the root of my SD card. (In all reality, I'm not sure if this step is even required)

Once you go into Wiiflow, in the individual game settings of WSR, under the DOL option, change it from main.dol to player.dol. This is why I don't think grabbing and renaming that RZTE01.dol is needed. You can have it choose player.dol in the first place. Once you've done that with Error002 fix on, it worked like a charm.

Watch the wiimotion instructional video, at the end press A, it will restart back to your system menu.

Go back into Wiiflow and change the DOL back to the original main.dol and start the game and all should work like normal.

It seems like Wiiflow already has a built in feature to look for alt DOL's in some of these games or something.

Either way, you shouldn't have to rent the game and all that other stuff you did.

yess i just got a update on the wii sports resort for wiiflow that works..... i think the dol file is still needed on either the sd card or fat32 side of hdd but all you needed to change the game settings to player.dol (if a pal version then change the wiiflow settings to ntsc) and the error 002 fix to ON. watch the 3 min vid. the it should return you to wiimenu. in wiiflow change back to main.dol and it will run perfectly. thank you to all that slimmed this down and replied to it.

I have the 4.2U softmoded and Really works!

all I did was put that file on the FAT32 (not sure if I had to or not) and then switched to player.dol watched video, then changed back.

I didn't change any other settings and it worked.

I read somewhereon here that you need to play the original first, to play the vid at the begining so i went and borrowed it but my console when i start the game is telling me that i need to update my wii before i can play it, it then goes on to warn me that any unorthorised software will be removed and make my wii unusable, has anyone else had this issue, and how do you get around it

i've got the original sports resort game as i heard that once you have watched the vid the the backup copy will work. but when i try to play it prompts for a system update and then a message that this update will remove unorthorised software and may make my wii useless. my system is 4.2e so i dont quite understand the update is there a way around this problem or should i accept the fact that ill never see the vid or play the resort game. is the vid on vertua tennis game the same and could that be a possible solution. also one other thing is i have a usb remote charging unit which ive noticed interferes with usb loader i found this out as originaly i had it plugged in to a powerpack plug but moved my wii and was able to use the wii to charge unit on the second usb socket yeasterday but all day today games kept freezing and it took about 8 hrs of reading and installing and uninstalling wads before i thought about that being different. doh

The steps we're talking about let you bypass that. My whole post to the original poster was the fact that you don't need to go rent or borrow the original game. That whole player.dol thing we're talking about IS the small video in the beginning.

If your wii is softmodded and you read the instructions at the top of this thread, then all will work. If anything, it might be best to download a scrubbed version so you don't get that update crap.
