can not get psp to hack - Wiihacks

my cousin bought a psp a few days ago and when i put in the pandora battery and magic memory stick to hack nothing happened. the battery works and it's fully charged and the the magic memory stick works. i think he bought the new psp with the new motherboard that makes it unhackable but i'm not sure. any suggestion or help?

if you have a PS button of it, its a PSP-3,000 and it isnt hackable atm, Datel is/released a tool to fix that, but its said to not be able to help the 3,000 issue, my advice would be to just buy used, if you do have a 3,000 due to the more advance screen it has been reported to cause games to have scan lines and look worse than befor

it doesn't have the ps button. here what it does i put in the magic memory stick first then when i put in the pandora battery nothing happens the power light just stays green.

When you put in the battery make sure the memory card is already in the PSP, and hold down L (top left) button while you put the battery in.

If you are SURE the battery and MMS are both good, and that doesnt work, then it must be an unhackable PSP.

it COULD be a TA-088v3 motherboard which is currently unhackable i remember those being a problem befor psp 3k

i tried holding the L button before i put in the battery and it doesn't work. i have hacked many psp before this one and all the psp worked but this one is giving me trouble. i just think he has the motherboard that is unhackable.

What version of windows are you using, becuae it you cant make it on vista XP only sorry...took me a while to figure that out, oh and if its a brand new one (psp 3000) you wont be able to hack it for a while, your gonna have to wait till DarkAlex comes up with something.

he can't return the psp because someone else bought it and gave it to him and i did the magic memory stick with windows xp because i know it doesn't work using windows vista. and the memory stick works because i hacked other psp using the memory stick and battery.
