for real......that is why I said we are straying from the topic.....But anyhow this evening I got a slimline Ps2 from a customer (version 14) (modified by one of my "while you wait competitors") with a very strange problem.....it is modified with the modbo 3.0 chip and it will only play backup ps2 cd and not dvd. I already removed the chip and I discovered it will still read only original cd ps2 game and not dvd games, and it is kinda getting late to work on it i'll probably work on it in the morning. But I will advice anyone who want to modify their slimlines: STOP INSTALLING CLONE MATRIX INFINITY IN YOUR PS2S it screws up with the dvd/cd controller and it render your ps2 useless!!!!!! Use the Mars Pro GM 816HD modchip (Not the clone mars pro also known as M7) this chip is designed for the slimlines. So please people listen to what i said. The mars pro may be a pain in the butt to install (cause it requires a certain guage wire) But it is waaaaaaay more stable than this pack of nonsense called Modbo or M7 chip.
