perhaps asking the retailer your question would be good, or do what davepm suggested and save you some money, softmod and usb load...

Money isn't really the issue..i'm doing it for my cousin's graduation and she would never understand USB loading. I already bought 100 DVD's. I just need a modchip that is easy. Solderless and then that's all I have to do..

You do realize that burned media only run at 3x, half the speed of the normal Wii DVD. And another thing, why would you buy a cake box full of blanks, you just going to burn her a bunch of games and give them to her?

On top of that USB loading provides an excellent way of ripping and backing up your discs.

If you are going to go through the hassle buy a WODE. No other choice IMO.

What about this one? Will it do burnt games at full speed? Wasabi DX Wii Modchip + V16 Wiiclip w/ Free Triwing and Phillips Screwdriver - Modchip Central Ltd is it easy to use?

No, the Wii will not read burned media at full speed, it is a hardware issue, regardless of chip installed. Only originals run at full speed, hence why USB loading is so much better, and faster

So with USB loading do I only have to plug it into the computer put the .iso's on the hard drive and then hook it up to the wii?

That sounds like a very logical methodology
