What solderless modchip should I get? (Just bought new Black Wii)

So I just bought a Black Wii yesterday and I definitely want to install a solderless modchip. I'm not sure what the best one for the money is, and which one I need for the newer Black Wii (I don't have it hooked up to the internet, it's bios version is 4.2U). North American.

Thank you for any suggestions, I'm new to the modchip scene so I need your opinions. I already have the tri-wing driver an everything.

Keep in mind that the black wiis have a new chipset that prevents loading backed up discs. Your modchip will be next to useless. I say you spend your money on a compatible usb hard drive, softmod and load your games that way. Check out the usb loading link in my signature to see what i mean. You also never have to screw with burning discs.

The WODE is the only viable option in this scenario as the USB loading part of it works fine but the disc loading part won't due to the drive chipset as junkmail has already stated.

OK so I just installed the Homebrew Channel and made a Bootmii backup (IOS).

Basically I'm only interested in playing WAD games, do I need to do anything special to install them or will they install without any problems? I saw the guide saying stuff about deleting a stub and then installing a cIOS... do I have to do that in order to install wads?

Keep in mind I have a just-bought black wii with 4.2U.

Ok. well i just wanna apologize ahead of time cuz im new to all this and Im not sure if this is considered "hijacking", but I also just bought the new black wii and was thinking of buying a modchip. I looked around and was leaning towards the wiikey fusion because of the ability to load isos from an SD card. Am i to understand the chip would be useless to me? Like i said im new to all of this and im just trying to work with the info I can comprehend on my own, sorry.
