    pc hard drive help

    i recently brought a 1TB WD external hard drive 3.5inch i decided to put it in my pc as my main hard drive but when i try to install windows onto the hard drive it always has errors on exe files and when you skip them it say NDLR missing press control-alt=delete to restart can anyone help me to install windows please ive tryed xp music edition and windows 7 32 and 64 bit none of them will install

    Try to install Windows xp sp 3 first or Vista sp 1. If one of these versions are installed then install win 7 as a upgrade.

    Are you booting disc from bios have u formatted the hdd?
    4.1x
    500gig seagate wbsf (to lazy to change)
