eset nod32 is too good you can download anything that has anything that even slightly looks like a virus, which was annoying because it wouldnt let me get things i knew were safe

From what i heard on the radio from a ABQ computer store, the only way to fully remove a virus is to reformat or else you may still have security comprimises on your system.

Sounds like they are blowing smoke. Thats way to much effort.

@Peire- That my friend is the power of malwarebytes.

I have been using ESET NOD32 4 in combination with MalwareBytes and haven't had any issues. Ever. I am and always have a big supporter of eset's AV. Works very well, uses minimal resources and not a lot of annoying false positives (I download a lot of stuff!). It's rated quite well and has been around since the beginning of the Internet! One of the best for "in the wild" virus' and has a decent GUI as well. I think I'm a user for life or until it proves me wrong (which I doubt it ever will). As far as spyware and malware (ESET's not the greatest for that), I use good ol' trusty MalwareBytes....very reliable and finds pretty much anything. I have used plenty of other programs but none have impressed me enough to change. Never have had a virus*knocks on wood* and think with those two programs installed I'm as safe as I'll ever be!
