Can All USB Loaders/launchers create backups? and are they in .wbfs or .iso?

Hiya, looking through the forums and different posts and guides on this site, it says features of these usb loaders.
but none have the ripping/backup ablility listed at all , and no information on it, and since now learning about the usb side of things

    1. do all usb loaders/launchers make these dump/backups or what ever its best to call them?
    2. do any of them dump/backup in .wbfs format or is it all .iso format?

still learning but i have learned a lot upto now thanks for helping me.
