Loader GX : USB Device not found (Transcend 4gb USB stick)

    Hi guys,

Got a little problem with Loader GX which seems unable to use my USB stick for loading backups. The Loader GX is on a seperate SD card and got two backups on the USB stick. Doesn't matter in which port I plug the USB stick, the same error keeps appearing. When I connect my external 500gb WD harddrive to the bottom USB port, it works fine. Strange thing is, when I use NeoGamma (or what it's called) and select the USB stick as source, I can load the backups just fine, so it seems that the USB stick definitely works.

    Any idea?

Hey Lapino, What format are you using for Hdd, And what format for Usb Stick. I can only get neogamma to see WBFS format. What version of GX loader are you trying to run.

You have answered both of your questions. There are many ways to set up depending on the versions you choose.

SD is FAT32, and holds GX Loader which I downloaded from the official site and used the windows-installer to install it. USB stick is formatted using WBFS Manager.

There you go. neogamma only sees WBFS format. Or DVD discs. SD slot will only read FAT32. USB slot (lower outer) whichever you want to call it HARD DRIVE Can be WBFS, NTFS, FAT32, As you use other software to point it in that direction, Or you can partition the drive and use apps in a fat32 section to point to NTFS,WBFS partitions.
I say again do not get mixed up with WBFS drive format. And .wbfs file extentions.

I'm pretty sure the older versions of GX loader used to use WBFS formatted drives, Which is why I stopped using it.
Since GX 2.2 this is not neccessary. you can use Fat32 NTFS, Which is why i'm using it again. Don't quote me research yourself. it's all out there in the world wide web.
