Hi, I don't have a specific problem per se, but I was wondering if the experts would be willing to chime in and comment on how my my 4.3U system looks. I performed the letterbomb exploit to install HBC and Bootmii, then I picked up on Maufrog's "softmod ANY wii" guide to finish things off.

I just don't have the expertise to know exactly everything about this, and I'd like to keep my system as healthy as possible. I suppose this is more of a peace of mind thing, but if there is anything any of you think I should add or remove, please let me know!

I'm very much new to Wii hacking also and like the person above me I'm just posting mine so those with more knowledge can tell me if they see something wrong or odd. I am also running 4.3u like the above poster. Right now I can play my Wii backups off my USB drive with USB Loader GX and install virtual console wad's using the pimp my wii app.

So really the only thing I'm missing is how do I play gamecube games? I tried Neogamma but I can't get it to work.

    sysCheck v2.0 by Double_A...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

If you have a newer wii then you wont be able to play gamecube backup discs because of the chipset.
You could prob do with updating and installing some extra cios(s) so you have more selection.

Install the cios update pack from mauifrogs mod any wii guide to give you some more choices when selecting cios.

How do I check my chipset? I have a Wii that had Wiisports bundled in.
Also, any particular cios(s)? Or links to their installers?

Stick your wii serial in here ------> Wii Drive Chip Database

Searching is a good skill to have. But look at this spoiler ----> "Install all Recommended ciOS Pack" in this thread ----> http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...tml#post580025

So you should be able to play GC backups. Have a look in the tutorial section for the guide on GC Backup and how to play them... The guide is by Stomp

Thanks. I do have an older version of this pack already installed, but I see that this newer version of the CIOS pack contains cIOSs that are revised versions of what I already have installed. This is just one example, but there are several more cIOSs like this (202, 222-224, 247-250):

    currently installed:
    cIOS250[57]-v20.wad

    contained in new CIOS pack:
    cIOS250[57]-v21d2x6

My first question is this- should I uninstall these older versions, or do I just install the newer versions on top of what I already have?

My second question is if these wads are needed:
    !!!IOS60-system-compatability-test.wad
    Backup HBC - MAUI.wad

I'm not sure what they are used for. Thanks for your help!

Nope take those 2 wads out and the other cios will install over the top of the other one so no you don't need to delete them.

@ Shifty - You may want to add something about putting the syschecks in a spoiler to original post......
