You know, it's funny, cause i can remember the section where i installed the herme's 222/223 and such, and i definitely didn't select base 75....could that have been due to the nintendo update that brought it to 4.3u?

Also, one last question....im about to re-start the any wii hack, should i be formatting the wii memory first?

    thanks a million

[QUOTE=Shift_Lock;624077]it doesnt look like you followed the any wii guide to a "T" try it again.. I dont know where you got some of those cIOS but.... 223 with a base of 75?? here are what your cIOS should look like

    Spoiler

This was very helpful. Getting cIOS's correct I think is the most confusing part of the whole mod. I think 84 pages in this post speaks to that. It would be very helpful if when they are writing guides if they would have a step to run syscheck after the cIOS part of the install and have the guide writer include generally what the syscheck should say so people can compare them. I though I followed the steps in the guide and my wiiflow and games were working so I would have been none the wiser if I didn't have these 3 games giving me errors. I can say compared to yours my cIOS's are not correct. Adding this to the mauifrog guide would have saved me this question.

So. I went back, and went through the guide http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

I did the 4.3 letterbomb no disc required.

I followed the steps of the guide EXACTLY as they were given.

i still get the same SysCheck report.
the ios 223 base 75 is what that guide installed! i had a clean sd card. only downloaded the files i was linked too, all the wads installed without errors.

when i look through my sd card, in the wad folder....there is NO file that would suggest i have anything related to base 75. infact. there's even a file called sd:\wad\cIOS223[37-38]-v4.wad

Any idea how this is happening?
should i go and try to install the wad file manually and see if that makes any kind of difference?

Hi everyone , my Wii is hardmodded with the d2Sun chip with clip , its NTSC-US Wii with 4.1 U ( upgraded using your Tutorial ) it was 3.2 when i bought it .
so everything is working fine , but after i installed some wads and the Priiloader , the Text in the japanese game Mina No Rhythm Tengoku (Rhythm Heaven wii) suddenly dissapeared , its gone , i see only blank sqaures . i played it allot b4 , and it wasnt like that. this game works on ios56 , i tried another game the mario galaxy 2 uses also ios 56 and everything is fine there.

now its all the same , from DVD , or from USB(HDD) Wiiflow . same problem .

yesterday it worked perfect in DVD ( Disk channel ) and in Wiiflow.

so the game was OK but after installed allot of ios wads and priiloader it happend after that.

Hi I used the modwii and this is my issue syscheck is included. Everything went smooth as silk love the guide until.... I plugged in the hdd and it kept saying please connect a usb drive. I unplugged my usb drive from my WII that I have previously modded to try because the wii I am currently modding is not mine and it did the same thing. I then wanted to check to see if it was the hdd that was the issue or if something in the wii. I took my Wii plugged in the new usb drive same error, then plugged in my usb drive to my wii and it doesn't recognize mine now either. I cannot imagine would could be wrong there are dump errors that show up after it searches for a usb drive but there are so many of them and it goes so fast that I am having trouble getting them. My question is should I start completly over, I have reinstalled the usb loader to both wiis no success, now I not only have unsuccessfully modded this wii I have managed to get my own wii nonfunctioning too. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. I also was wondering since I modded my wii over a year ago should I remod/update it?Thanks so much if you made it this far,

    syscheck:

Alright, so i did a bit of searching around, and came up with a few ideas.....

after playing around a bit. here is my current syscheck report :

    Spoiler

so, i decided to give some games a shot......1 worked! guitar hero 3 loaded with usbloader gx with no problems!
    however after trying,
    Mario galaxy 2 failed,
    tiger woods 08 failed,
rockband, rockband 2, rockband country, rockband country 2, guitar hero world tour, GH6 all failed.

however i DO look at the 1 game load as progress in the right direction....

    please help!
    thanks again.

Second Hand Wii - previous Mod?

    Hi all,

I been asked by a friend to softmod his Wii for him as he has NO technical know how. I'm only slightly better(!) but have successfully modded a few (including my own) by following the 'Mod ANY Wii' guide (excellent work by the way).

When I booted it up, I notice that MPlayer & Neo Gamma Channels were on there, but no Homebrew channel.

I've used the letterbomb hackmii installer to put the HBC back on there, and installed Bootmii to IOS (Black Wii, so Boot2 not an option) and performed a NAND backup.
I've also run a syscheck - I have a feeling that cIOScorp may have been put on this Wii at some point?

Am I OK to just continue with the 'Hack any Wii' guide - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just follow the guide, it will overwrite anything that's already installed. Start with the spoiler titled "Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed" and complete all the following steps.
