Hi my wii was soft modded 2 years ago by me has been working perfectly all ok but for some reason the cursor has started jumping all over the screen. I'm using CFG usb loader for my hdd is it posible to have picked up a virus off my pc when I was putting a game on the hdd?If so how can I sort it. I've added a system check hope I've done it right.

    Spoiler

Hi just thought I would update on the jumping cursor issue believe it or not my christmas tree lights where interfering with the ir signal of my wii. So if anybody else gets this problem make sure all other electrical things are off.

Grrr, still can't get my backups to load from USB (checked and my drive is supposed to be one that works). I went through the softmod any Wii guide again (http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html) and all of the installation steps for the wads completed without any problems. Also made sure to use the Configurable USB app provided in the App Pack. However, when I try to load games from my fat32 partition, I get a black screen after loading and it hangs. When I try to load games from the wbfs partition I get the "An error has occurred..." message. If anyone could take a moment to give a Wii hacking n00b some advice, I sure would appreciate it.

    Here's an updated syscheck:

    Alright.
I was gonna post there, but I didn't want to seem like I was double posting for quicker response. Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I caused any annoyance of any kind.

Have you messed with the settings in CFG to read from the correct USB setting?

I have searched and read all threads for the last week but can't find anything relating to Original discs - not backups.

What error are you getting when you try to load a retail disc?

My wii does not have modchip. I bought it very recently and i dont intend to implement one.

This error occurred ocasionaly with some games, but with Mario Karts for instance it happens systematically when the game loads.

My HDD is NTFS formatted. Does this pose any possibility of contributing for that error?
are you talking about a back up disc??? Try using imgburn with layer break set to 2084960... make sure your using a quality DVD - R.... Dual layer games are a pain sometimes.. I suggest USB loading...

..... Just an FYI you dont need electrical "things" off... the lights from the tree are just reflecting off somethin or to close to the front of your sensor bar... Your sensor bar is made up of 4 red led's.. thats it... your remote uses the leds to determine where it is on your screen.. there is NO IR .. none at all.. you can actually use 2 candles to play your wii without a sensor bar... so.. just try to keep lights from blinking infront of your wiimote and you'll be fine.

    Red face USB Loading

    Hey everyone

I brought a Wii and have installed some games on my WBFS usb drive, only one of my 4-5 games boot which is spider man edge of time, id like to be able to play them all off USB as changing disks is annoying at the rate of how fast I get bored.

im trying to get animal crossing lets go to the city, zelda the skyward sword, and goldeneye 007 to run via usb loader GX.

i own all the original disks if that can be used to my advantage in anyway.

    my system report;

    Spoiler

Thanks in advance for anyone brave enough to guide me through this :L

cIOS222 is stubbed and it probably wouldnt hut to just run through the any wii guide really quick to fix anything else that may be wrong..

we have a guide for zelda and oo7 and animal crossing probably just need to be loaded from a different cIOS.

There is a guide to get that game working.. however you could update your entire softmod... Read over the any wii guide. Its what I recommend.
