You have an older wii that should be able to have bootmii installed as boot2. Thats good. Very good. You have some newer CIOSes, but your configuration is out of date. The mod any wii guide in my signature will set you to right. You can follow the HBC already installed option. Make and keep a nand backup. Dont skip that. Follow the whole thing thru, start to finish. You'll wind up on 4.1e with all the necessary stuff to run whatever you like. It will replace whats there where needed.

    G/L!

If your drive is formatted to NTFS (likely) Mr Brian has put together a nice guide. You should be able to use it w/o reformatting. Neogamma ... well.. it might work, but I'd recommend configurable usb loader. More gooder.

Angry I need help please as I have given up trying to Uninstall the Dreaded DarkCorp 1.1

I searched around this forum and did what I can to uninstall Darkcorp version 1.1 (This is the latest version out on the net I presume) with Darkcorp Uninstaller to a Wiihacks Mod Tutorial to Uninstall it, and last resort recovering the console using Bootmii as Boot2. The last may be tragic if I try to decide to use the Wii Hacks FAQS to Virginize my 2007 owned Wii. Here is my System Check. Thanks to anyone that helps me out.

Your cIOS seems a little outdated but thats an easy fix.. why do you want to install darkcorp?

It will certainly help to make things run smoother, and increase compatability issues, that even if they have not come up yet, certainly will down the road.

The idea for this sort of thing is to evolve the process. It is certainly alot easier to do now, than it was a year ago. There are more filesystems that can work to hold .iso files, than the wbfs that was the only thing available before.
There are more up to date loaders, that are better compatable and have alot more options in them to run.
There are alot more options in terms of the amount of cios that one can have in the system, and that will certainly increase the chances of playing backups.

The guide itself , has eliminated alot of the steps a person would have to take before, and for the most part things install and you just wait for it to happen lol.
Ok I read the guide again - 3 times! And it's all starting to come back to me... I have homebrew etc. already loaded so I can skip the Bannerbomb section correct? Just start on the sub clip - if you have homebrew installed? Also I noticed it doesn specfically mention installing d2x CIOS - does it? And Can I skip the 4.1 downgrade - or is there a reason it is better than 4.2U? Finally will my usb backupdrive with my backedup games still work? (it's the wierd wii format).

I've seen some people say thier backup of wii sports doesn't work after they upgraded etc... I just don't want to move backwards.

Thanks again for all your help.
    Jim
