    Shift -

Thanks for the quick reply... Been reading since I postedlast night and have all of the files necessary for the huide downloaded and ready to rock, but wanted to hold off until I got some feedback. Will be following the guide directly and will report back once it's complete. Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the time / view and comments. Truly appreciated!

This is what your sys check would look like if you follow mauis any wii guide.

Sorry if I need to move this to another thread, but is there ANY advantage in upgrading the system menu to 4.3 or is it best to leave the unbroken thing unbroken???

Dont double post.. use the edit button..

4.3 and 4.2 were designed to kill HBC and softmods.. there are no advantages to them.. 4.1 is preferred. the only thing you need is upto date IOS and cIOS and you will be set. games are NOT SM dependent.. they are IOS dependent.

Where'd that 236 come from? Not from mauifrog. Where did DX2-V7Alpha5 come from? Not from mauifrog's guide (unless he forgot to update his SysCheck). Where did cIOS 245 and 246 come from? Not from mauifrog's guide. Get your facts straight before blundering into a meaningless rant...
So if I followed Mauis guide to the "T" and already had 245 and 246 installed, would they remain on my system or be erased? My point is that the guide was followed but I continued to have issues. Games that played a few days ago ceased to work without anything being changed on the system. Erasing and reloading certain isos worked. But it wasnt consistent and took loads of trouble shooting. I had used other guides for problem games and suggestions from other sites in an attempt to fix things. I came on here asking for help, not demanding it.

Heres what I'm saying. You didn;t follow it to a T. Not even close. Your CIOSes are not what's in the pack. So you skipped a step, or did something after, or whatever.... it's not right.

    Hint:
IOSes (or CIOSes) take up a numbered "slot". When you install a new one... it REPLACES what was in that slot before. So, if you've done the guide correctly, at LEAST the bits that were part of the guide will, in fact, be correct. Yours.. isnt.

Take no offense to what I'm saying here, I'm sincerely trying to help. You need to help yourself a bit and listen.

Thank you. The virgin state was not helping me in the specific issues I had with the configuration of loaders, etc I had. I attempted to download different items to help that and my syscheck reflected that. Please understand that I had tried multiple Maui from scratch attempts and the games that had worked previously did not work. It appears to have been something corrupted in the image. Reloading them worked. I cannot explain why. I tried the images on different media and had the same results. I had to reburn the images to get everything to work again. But I appreciate your polite responses. Thanks.

@shift re kenzieboo --- you're correct, but I did instruct him to post here. I recommended mauis guide soup/nuts. Problem was games locking up.

I've kinda wondered about that.... since Mauis guide installs all the IOSes you need, wouldnt doing a full install using the anywii guide actually remove darkcorp in the process?

I think those darkcrap revisions being maxed out, make overwriting difficult. Not sure, could wrong, probably am, haven't had my coffee yet.
