    I installed my soft mod using the guide on here 3 months ago. Im pretty sure a couple of wads didnt install correctly. USB loader gx gives me a black screen with code and restarts and the homebrew browser didnt work but usb configurable worked so I soildered on. Is there anything messed up? I aim to update my existing softmod after I have this checked.

    Your SysCheck seems in order to me. The fact you thought you got errors when doing the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide yet soldiered on I find somewhat troubling. While I cannot argue with the end result, if it had been true it gives me pause you didn't ask about it at the time. Bottom line: the IOS and cIOS seem fine. Perhaps it's bad configuration for USB Loader GX? Also saying the "Homebrew Browser doesn't work" isn't exactly descriptive.

    Yes it was perhaps a bit of a gamble Ive never messed with gx or homebrew channel or any other settings. I try to load the homebrew browser and it initalises network and seems to connect then gives a request repositrys list read error -6 occured retrying Then retrys automaticly saying -6 occured lots of times line after line untill I press home button. As with gx everything seems to load up ok, initialise usb etc then suddenly get a black screen saying (ISI) exception occured. when I load it through the chanel i will get a glimpse of the gx menu but its frozen and needs a hard reset but loading it through the hbc it reloads in 20 seconds back to the hbc. has always been this way. Wondering should I try to fix these or just do chapter 2 and 3 of the softmod any wii guide.

    @Fenty:

    I'd reformat your SD card (make sure it's 2gb or smaller and full SD --- ie not MicroSD in adapter, nor SDHC) FAT32 and redownload the app pack from the guide and give it a whirl again.

    Whoa! it worked. Was already a formatted fat 32 sd card but readding the new apps folder worked. The hb browser froze at unzipping files, I only had 350 mb on the card so I freed up some space and some blocks on the wii and it worked a charm. thanks

    @kcockcus:

    That's an out of spec softmod. Also be aware, we prefer you use a specific version of SysCheck that can be obtained here. Recommendation: follow this guide; you may start from the spoiler entitled "Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed" in Chapter 1, Part 1. Do the rest of the guide.

    If you had posted a syscheck, then it would have been in the right place. So since you didn't. It isn't.
