Thanks so much for the very quick reply.

I am using the Azo discs. I will follow your advice and post back later tonight when I get a chance!

    Your signature is ironic.

You need to make sure that the date and time is set right on the Wii, since the letter that is generated is time sensitive.

Then make sure that you have the correct MAC address and region you enter into the hackmii.com site is accurate, then download the .zip file it generates.

Then you should have an SD card (not SDHC, not Mini, not micro) that is 1 gig or 2 gig. Format the card (full erase, not quick) as FAT32. we have a recommended formatting tool (search for Panasonic SD card formatter). Extract the contents of the .zip file to the root of the card, put it in the system, then power it up. It should then show up either today, tomorrow, or yesterday (depending on your time zone and time zone of the server).

We also would like you to mod your system using our guide "Softmod Any Wii" guide (link in my signature) instead of any of the other methods that you've tried.

    Back again.

So I went through the "Softmod ANY wii" guide as was recommended to me (well written guide might I add - very detailed).

I attempted to run Super Mario Bros 3+ through NeoGamma and to my surprise it worked right off the start. Next I attempted to run another game which gave the same error as detailed before. Just for trouble shooting, I decided to attempt a reload of Super Mario Bros 3+ once again - and it gave the error message as well

At this point I'm assuming it's just the burn media - though they are the Azo Verbatim -Rs. I'm doing a backup of my NAND right now, and will continue to troubleshoot this issue.

In case I've missed something, I've done another Syscheck which I'll post below. Though at this point it looks like I'll need to get a USB HDD and start loading backups that way.

OK I went through the entire soft mod again and everything turned out great....I ran a syscheck using the same app as before but this time I ran the check before updating any of the IOS's (referring to the option that appears immediately after you load the sysCheck from Homebrew) I viewed the check on the TV and it had the Homebrew version as 1.0.0....so I went back to HomeBrew Main Menu then pressed teh home button and looked in the upper right corner and there it said v.1.1.0...now I'm thinking I should have done the syscheck update when it gave me the option...so I go back to syscheck, do the update and run another syscheck and view it on the TV...this check looks identical to the one posted above...even the German words about no Homebrew filter...at this point I'm more curious about what is happening than actually getting the game to work
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results.

Your syscheck looks ok, pretty much identical to mine. Have you gone through the Fat32 and CFG guides posted on the forums here and have you tried another loader?

It's not your softmod. We do have proper setup/formatting guides for USB drives --- you might want to consult them. Sound like bad rips or as stated, improper setup.
