error or crush when clicking game on HDD.

When trying to actually play one of the wbfs games loaded to USB drive wii crushes or gives error notice (depends which loader I`m using)
    This is my syscheck

    Spoiler

I will upgrade my system later on. Meanwhile I want to be able to load some games from my WD 500GB elements USB drive.
I have formatted it to FAT32 following directions in the guide to the letter. Successfully Loaded some games into it using wii backup manager.
When using USB LOADER GX (installer vs. 1.8) I first get a message it doesn`t recognize any wbfs fat32 or ntfs partition on drive, then I get the actual list of games that are on the drive - screenshot:
    1.jpg
But if I try to click the game to play it, wii crushes.
I tried using CFG USB LOADER V.70 instead. I get the following two screens.
    2.jpg3.jpg
Then I get to the welcome screen of the game
    4.jpg
and if I click it I get the following error:

It`s hard to read on screenshot so here`s a transcript:

Seeing a syscheck that isnt' current, I stopped reading the rest of the post. Get that upto date first, then if things still fail, ask again. I wouldn't trust anything to work with a syscheck like that.

Don't forget priiloader. Seems you don't have it installed, currently.

A link to the Softmod Any Wii guide is in my signature. Since you still have HBC 1.0.8, start from the top.

GameCube games not working with loaders

    Hi!

I posted my system check here so someone who knows more can check if everything is working as it should be. I can't play GC games at all. Wii games work. I softmodded my wii using the softmod any wii guide, installed DIOS MIOS 2.9 and updated gx loader to 1211. Apps folder is in my SD card, games folder is in my Kingston Data Traveler 8GB usb stick. I installed the ripped ISO's with DMtoolbox, is it the right program for the job? And the Data Traveler is correctly set up with a partition manager program, FAT32, cluster size 32, Primary, set active, MBR (I used MiniTool Partition wizard Home Edition 7.8 because EasUS Partion Manager sets the cluster size automatically). And I checked the cluster size with the text file and it is 32kB). I'm tired of searching answers from the other threads, so I decided to post the system check. Maybe I did something wrong. The GC games not working is the only problem I've had so far. No errors in installing any files etc. And all the loaders can see my GC games, but when I start them there is only a black screen (need to hold power to shut down) or the wii shuts down itself. Dx2 v8 is also installed.Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you've done everything right software wise. The only two things that I can think of that could be wrong is:

    1) Dios Mios doesn't like your hard drive. Even though Wii games can be played on it, sometimes DM won't like the same hard drive, or
    2) Bad rips.

    could someone take a look

hi, i bought an old wii the other day and it came with a few games. i wanted to soft mod it as i love to fiddle. i followed the softmod any wii to a t and succesfully softmodded my wii. i dumped all of the games that came with the wii onto a usb stick but not all of them work. i have posted my sys check file for someone to look at just to see if its right? ill give examples, i have cod black ops which plays perfect from the original disc. and also from a backup i made, but the file i dumped onto the usb stick which is wbfs formatted will not play. ive messed about with it to no end. ive even run a check on it through wii backup manager and it says not a valid wii disc? its a dump from an original. i can play the backup through neogamma off a disc. but non of the loaders seem to want to play it. it just resets to the main menu. youll have to excuse my noob-ness. i just want to be able to have some sort of back up as my 6 year old likes to leave dvds and cds all over the place. id rather her play the games from a usb rather than wreck the games. ive just spend alot of money on some games she wanted. im also having trouble with mario kart. same as above, will play from regular disc, backup disc but not usb. i have also tried playing from fat 32 formatted usb but i cant see any of the games through any loader. any advice would be great.

thanks for that. ive had a read. im convinced its the usb stick i gave. its a generic 64gb one i got off ebay just to keep a few games on that i could transfer off the pc. i had a faulty one the other day that came up as a kingston datatraveller. obviously wasnt a genuine one as it was cheap. i sent that back for a replacement and this one is a toshiba. its a shame really, as ill just have to use dvds. i already have 2 wd hard drives 2 tb each full of my blu ray back ups (cant leave anything around my house) i have loads of space left on one but i dont want to mess with it and end up cocking up my films.

i think what ill do is re rip all the discs, theres only 6 games or so, and just save the data to usb and let her play off dvd for now. i may decide to try usb loading in the future if i get a decent collection of games. thanks for all the advice.

You are missing a large number of cIOS's.

Since you are running HBC 1.1.2 (we don't recommend people go past 1.1.0 on a Wii, since 1.1.2 is meant for Wii U), I would suggest that you start at the top of "Softmod Any Wii Guide" (link in signature) to reinstall HBC, bootmii, get a NAND backup if you don't already have one, then go onto chapter 2 to install the ModPack.

Hello, I've posted my problem nearly 1 year ago, but I'll describe how it is now. I've done almost absolutelly nothing to my console since that time. Still, my Wii freeze and show black screen after attempting running SNES or NES games, but suddenly N64 game (Pokemon Snap) start somewhat to work - the video is not diplaying properly (it's streched to 4:3 screen format and it goes offscreen). Below is my sysCheck log:

Any help would be greatly apprieciated
