If your asking can you downgrade your Boot2 v4 to boot2 v2/v3, then no! (AFAIK)
Because you have an elevated version of it.

You don't need to downgrade your boot2 as it offers nothing anyway.
No,really isn't any difference's between these boot2 version's, what matters is the boot1,if you have the bug...your good.

Please correct me if am wrong Guys.

That's correct. You can upgrade boot2 to v4 (though there is absolutely no reason to do this), but you cannot downgrade it. The changes between v2 and v3 were just some changes to the start-up routine (not sure about v1 -> v2). The main changes in v4 added support for the hardware changes that were introduced in 2008 (those same hw changes are what cause bricks when downgrading newer Wiis to below 3.2). So, OP, as Jax said, don't worry about it.

Hi I have been given a Wii that has an old softmod. Its running 3.1e and wanted to update this with the "softmod any Wii" guide I did a system check and it appears to have a lot less in the system check than others. Im new to this and i've only softmodded 2 wii's lol (a 4.1 and a 4.3) so my knowledge is pretty basic. what advice I would like please is. Have I got to remove the softmod by using the guides on here ? or can I update the current softmod ? Thank you and much appreciated.

Your soft mod is way outdated.
Follow the Soft Mod any Wii Guide, Link is at the bottom of my signature.
Start from Soft Mod with Homebrew Channel Installed.
Please read the Guide a few times then proceed.
