    Cheers,
Your Homebrew channel is out dated and you could try updating your cios's to D2x v8.
To update your HBC go to this >>link<<, Extract it and put the Hackmii folder on your sd card in the apps folder and run it from the Homebrew Channel..Just install the the Homebrew channel.
To update your cios's to D2x v8 go here->D2x Cios Installation Guide, and install them.
    Everything else looks good.

Hi Jax, tried what you'd said. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to update HBC, I get "Exception (DSI) occurred, STACK DUMP and CODE DUMP errors!

Any idea why or what I should do next?

See Flickr: Daglefinger's Photostream for screen shot if this helps.. (its beyond me!)

Make sure your HDD is disconnected, then try again.
Try a Different Sd Card, if possible.
Also you could follow the Soft Mod Any Wii Guide.
Just Start From Soft Mod With Homebrew Channel Installed.
Follow it all the way through if you are going to follow that guide...Link is at the bottom of my signature.
This will over write everything that has already been installed and it will also update your loaders as well.

Ok, just got my Wii back from the shop (new disc drive installed) all is working well...it's reading discs again!!

Well I really doubt they did anything to the NAND and IOS setup I'd just like someone to look and be sure (I am missing 5 blocks of memory I can't account for) so here's my System Check:

    Spoiler

    sysCheck #Tn6kNMU3

Upon checking with AnyTitleDeleter I also see under "Disc Game Titles (and saves)" that I have 2 new entries:
"ID: 52565945, Code: RVYE, Title Name: Unknown"
"ID: 00555045, Code: .UPE, Title Name: Unknown".
I think these may just be from the games they used to test the drive but I can't find any info on the ID numbers or codes so any insight would be appreciated thanks

I guess I'll just leave them alone then, 3 blocks isn't such a big deal and I don't want to remove them of they might be important somehow. It was 5 blocks but I deleted a save for Mega Man 9 they apparently created lol. Haven't noticed anything else suspicious so I'm not gonna complain about it :P

Thanks for looking at my system check.

    Spoiler

I have removed spaces on spoiler thing and cant seem to get it to work. VERY SORRY I finally figured out the spoiler thing.

I'm having a problem with this wii its loads from fresh power up and plays games fine, when done playing game click home button and try to load one of the loaders it hangs and I have to hold power button 10secs. I don't think it could be a hard drive issue as it works fine with other wiis.

Try using a different loader and report back , if it does the same thing.

Try deleting the the Config Files from your sd card to the loaders.
It will be on the sd card, it will look like so....SD:/Usb Loader gx/GXGLOBAL<<Delete That, then restart the loader.
    Try other loaders as well.
