Hey, I'm trying to get uLoader to work with my new external hd. I've formatted and partitioned the drive for wbfs and seem to have done everything right on that end. I was using an old version of uLoader that didn't recognize it, so I downloaded and installed the newest version of uLoader GX I could find and it isn't recognizing the drive either.

It seems I need to get cIOS 222 installed which seems to be stubbed, and I'm a bit confused about the best way to do this.

I've downloaded cIOS222_38__v5.1 and d2x v8 Final wad packs but before I install them with YAWM I wanted to post my syscheck and make sure that makes sense.

    Thanks

You have a lot out of order in that syscheck. The best solution for you would be to follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide from beginning to end. Start at the spoiler "Softmods with Homebrew Channel Installed". (Yes, you will need to reinstall the Homebrew Channel)

So I should re-soft mod the wii? Would that require removing the current softmod that I have in place or I could just re-do certain parts?

OK, lets try this again... The best solution for you would be to follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide from beginning to end. Start at the spoiler "Softmods with Homebrew Channel Installed". (Yes, you will need to reinstall the Homebrew Channel).

No, no need to remove anything. Don't just re-do certain parts. Follow the above instructions. After that your mod will be up to date and you will have the latest cIOS and loaders. As long as you formatted your drive correctly and it is compatible, you should be able to play your games immediately after doing this.

EDIT: Hi Jax.. Ya beat me...lol

Awesome, I shall try this and let ya'll know if it worked

Hmm well it seems to be more in order, yet now when I load uLoader GX, it initiates the USB for a second, then freezes on 11 seconds to go. uLoader also freezes when I attempt to load it with the usb turned on.

I partitioned the usb drive into two halves: one a normal system so I could put my movies and roms, and the other for WBFS. They're both active and primary so I'm not sure what the issue is. When I try WiiMC, I can play the video files just fine, so I know the Wii is reading the USB drive, it just seems to have an issue with the WBFS partition or something

Also, according to my disk manager (the usb drive I have I just bought used) seems to be this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144140 which seems to be listed as compatible

Anyway, here's the syscheck, is there anything wrong here that could lead to these problems?
